Garni Hotel Schmaus

The staff was nice and friendly. The breakfast was good. The location perfect.

The room was very clean and comfortable and suited my purposes for the night and the person I spoke to when trying to check in gave me a good restaurant recommendation. The location of the hotel is great, didnt have breakfast but looked OK.

I was surprised that a) the hotel was not staffed at all. The door to the hotel was locked when I arrived, however, there was a note on the door in German with a phone number to call. Upon calling the number someone gave me the code to a lock-box adjacent to the door where there was a key for me to get into the hotel/room. The only person I encoutred at the hotel was at check out. b) it was not clear from the website that this is more of an Airbnb type situation than a proper hotel. e.g. - not restaurant, no bar, no check-in staff.

Nice host and good breakfast, pleasant room and great location

Hotel has no Restaurant, only few guests and was renovated in an oversized style

Very clean. Staff could not have been any nicer. Room included a very nice breakfast.

No air conditioner

We loved the location on the main square close to all the ice cream parlours, cafes, restaurants & shops. It was nice to have secure off road parking for my motorcycle (even given a covered garage). Our room was very spacious & also had a terrace. Breakfast was a generous buffet, the breadbuns were particularly delicious. Lots of fresh fruit on offer, bananas, plums, kiwi & apples. Staff were pleasant & helpful.

when staying here we really liked that it was a modern room and was kept to a high standard. we also liked that you can have your breakfast on the rooftop that came with an amazing view.the breakfast there was a wide choice that caters for everyone from fruit and cereal to hot bacon and eggs and a selection of cheeses was absolutely delicious. the staff was really friendly too and was made to feel welcome.

not much to write here but a suggestion of a stronger Wi-Fi in rooms as it kept loosing signal.also air con would be beneficial during the summer months.

The hosts were super friendly and were always helpful. They offered to us a bigger room because the double room was small for us and a baby. The new room was spacious and clean. At the lobby were a lot of prospects with nearby attractions. It had a great terrace with a mesmerising view. The breakfast was also good.

Nothing really.

The service, the cleanest hotel we’ve ever been, the breakfast menu.
