perfect last stop for our camino. right in down town. front staff excellent. room clean

Central location, clean, large room.

Didn’t tell us breakfast was included so we missed it! Also, no soap for handwashing, just about out of soap and shampoo in shower! Little noisy at night but it was a Saturday night (bring earplugs)

Noisy in the front. You are in a medieval village and it is hard to sleep with window open.

Located in the centre of Llanes, yes it was a little noisy but no more than be usually expected from a town centre hotel. Really enjoyed our stay and wanted to stay longer but they were, unfortunately booked up.

Wonderful location in Llanes. In the paedestrian street near many bars and restsurants. Lady at check-in very friendly. Walking distance to Playa de Sablon beach. Room was perfect. Bathroom with a shower with good water pressure. Room and bathroom very clean. We had a very good overnight stay at Posada del Rey while walking the camino del Norte. Highly recommended

The location was very good especially right on the Camino Del Norte. Bed was very comfy and good location for food.

The room had a beautiful stone wall, which added to the cozy feeling of it all. Staff was very friendly. Everything we needed was within a very short walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

The location is great - the sound of Spanish people having fun in bars and restaurants just below was lovely - it made me feel constantly happy! You're right in the heart of everything. The room had a really authentic Spanish feel - terracotta tiles on the floor, dark hardwood furniture, and a fabulous balcony-style window.

I had to ask for a plate and cup etc - strange as there was a fridge, microwave and little sink - but nothing to prepare food on / with. But I used my Spanish to borrow what I needed - the staff were very helpful.

Affordable hotel in a great location! We needed a recharge night during the Camino and were super glad to have chosen La Posada del Rey. The laundromat and train station are less than 10 mins away and it's smack in the middle of Old Town. Elevator works and the bathroom was clean with warm water.

There was 1 or 2 times I was hoping to chat with someone at reception but they were out for the day/ siesta. But that happened at nearly every hotel in Spain so we were used to it!

Excellent location for both the Camino and the beach/city. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Elevator was helpful after walking all day.

Fantastic location. A little noisy on first night but only as expected in such a central location. Characterful decoration, loved it.

Only thing we could fault was the obvious plastic mattress protectors: understandable but a recipe for a hot night.

Absolutely loved my stay! Booked it the day of and we stayed in a room on the top floor. So cozy and charming, would stay again in a heartbeat. Estuvimos enamorados con la posada. Nuestro cuarto estaba lleno de encanto y tengo ganas de volver en el futuro.

The location -- near stores but not on a main café square; and on the way to the fishers' harbour -- was very good. The building has charm. Our room was cosy -- top floor, with some view of roof tops and mountains in the background. Nice clean bathroom/shower; with a separate additional sink.

Everyone says the location is great.. it is in the city center but this means that in high tourism season you will not be able to rest. We had a street view and it was extremely noisy until past 1 AM. Llanes is so small and in our opinion it’s not necessary to be in the absolute center of the hustle and bustle. Everything is 5-15 min walking distance. No air conditioning and because the room was above restaurants and a narrow street, we couldn’t open the window to cool off. The room was also humid and this was a bit unpleasant given that the wood furniture smelled smelled of humidity. Mostly, it would have been an acceptable stay as it’s a three star hotel but the rate was extremely inflated in summer and I would absolutely not repeat the stay for summer prices.
