Great view of rhe harbor. Very close to the center of town for food drink and Mass. Perfect for the El Camino Breakfast served.
The location and the view of the harbor from my window. The staff was very nice.
The room was small
Very nice room with windows. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Location
Loud noise from hotel- you couldn’t sleep and relax , constantly something was going on, noise from corridors, kitchen, bar , no chairs in the room. Personally I think it’s overpriced for all conditions.
Great location
Window fell off hinges. Staff told me I was too rough with window…and to leave it closed. So, maybe not the most user friendly place to stay!
At check in, the young receptionist, who was from Mexico, was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and a wonderful view of the harbour.
Parking was an extra fee.
Super location. Lovely bedroom views.
Bath/shower a little on the small side. Curtain makes it feel smaller.
Location, clean, quiet
Wifi was room specific so inaccessible in reception
Best location in the town, absolutely fantastic views from the room, staff were brilliant
It is in a great location! It’s simple, perhaps a bit dated, but very reasonable, and clean and nice!
Excellent location. Helpful staff. Good value for money.
The location is great and the hotel is a nice comfy place to stay in Llanes. The young girl on reception was amazing and very attentive.
The underground parking is expensive at 15 euro a day and is quite a long way from the hotel up a hill.
nice place ,friendly staff. we have stayed before and love location. The only issue was water was off for an hour and a half when we arrived. We would stay again
Exceptional attention and care. Yes, the hotel is a little dated but its old-school charm is refreshingly NOT white-walled, ikea-fied Boho-chic. Very well positioned, room with windows opening out over the water, got showers, towels, comfy bed, plenty of space. Parking is paid(as is typical) and a small walk from hotel, but we were accompanied by staff to find it. A great relief they had this as street parking was completely full throughout the town on arrival.
I'm appalled at the low-scoring (English speaking?) customer reviews that focus on comparisons with Fawlty Towers. Don't they get that Fawlty Towers was a scathing piss-take of English anal retentiveness, as glorified by the painfully British, Basil Fawlty? Don't they realise they are perpetuating this ranting, frothing stereotype with their pathetic mythering? They forget that we are visitors in this country - local rules, protocols, ways of doing. Las Rocas are running a business and doing it their way, not pandering to the ridiculous whims of foreigners who delight in finding fault and putting others down to puff up their sense of superiority. Get over yourselves, people! Perhaps better to stick with familiar knotted-hanky-hat holidays and the sterling customer service of Torquay and save everyone your dramas.
The hotel has a very good location and considering the prices in town during high season it was't expensive. It has a vintage vibe but it's clean and comfortable.
My room was on the first floor which at certain point is just slightly higher than a ground floor so it was a bit noisy given that you have views to the harbour restaurants so my advice is to bear that in mind and perhaps request a higher floor.
Beautiful view of the harbour
Having to hand your room key in every time you left the hotel.Decor a bit datedA single long pillow in a double bed was a bit odd!
Old fashioned hotel-in a good way. It took me back to eighties and my first interrail trips. ?Location is just perfect with nice and calming view to the harbour. At the nearby pizzeria you can have really good glutenfree pizza!10/10 for the hotel & the pizza.
A chair in the room would be nice.
The location is excellent on the edge of the harbour with a lovely view out of my room window. The bathroom was clean and spacious with a very good shower although the bath is a half bath - the bath towel was very large. Although others have said it can be noisy I did not hear any noise from outside the hotel.
The curtains (drapes) are too thin so the room was still quite light at night and I find it it difficult to sleep unless the room is dark. I would have scored the hotel 9 but for this issue.
