Although this hotel is not facing the water, it is just blocks from the heart of the town where the market, shops, and restaurants that make Biarritz special. Like many European hotels, the hotel is in an older building that has been updated while keeping the old-world charm. The rooms are very clean and updated. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We did not take advantage of it, but they serve a very nice breakfast in the lobby for an upcharge.

Everything. Kindness, attentiveness of staff, superb quality of the brunch, decor, situation. Well done!

Leaving at mid day would be nice !?

Very charming and beautiful property in an excellent location. 2 blocks away from the market hall. Nice view from our room, cozy beds and very clean bathrooms.

Could hear locks, doors and the elevator near our room. People talking around midnight woke me up.

This was our second stay and it lived up to expectations. We love it's boutique feel, it's location, the staff and the breakfast. We will return !

Nothing to dislike

Great location, comfortable and good terrace space. Parking and amenities are nearby. Good sound proofing as our stay was over Halloween and the nearby park was crowded and noisy, but the room was quiet.

Shower sealant was black and a bit unsightly. Very expensive area for parking, €50 for our stay. €10 for a pint.

Ambility of staff, comfort of bed, high end shower gel in bathroom, so central. Had a balcony. There isa fridge too, noiseless behind a curtain.

Our first visit in Biarritz. We walked a lot and stated that the hotel had the best location. A short walking distance to any places and yet in a very calm neighbourhood. Lovely little breakfast room with local delicacies.

2nd stay. Won’t be the last. Quiet, agreeable hotel close to the town centre and beach. Staff friendly and attentive. Good breakfast. Parking easily available nearby.

room + location + breakfast= all ok. The decoration of the rooms and the reception hall are soooo nice. The Hotel as a building looks amazing indoor + outdoor. The quiet terrace with a fontaine is a ideal place to have a drink in the afternoon or before dinner. The cosmetic and personal hygiene products (brand : Galimard) proposed in the bathroom have such a nice smell. A pity, we had no time for spa treatments, but I will test it next time, for sure.

nothing ! I mayyybeee missed some more fresh food for breakfast (like tomatos, advocados, greens with olive oil and balsamico) but everything was tasty, fresh from the farm or from the bakery :-) or were typically basque specialities ( amazing cheese cake, sausages, ham...), I definitly recommande the tasty breakfast :-)

Bed was small, room was small

A traditional hotel within walking distance of the centre of Biarritz. We only stayed one night and it was a rainy day however there was a pretty sitting area at the front which would have been nice to have used. Good value.

The location was perfect, only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Biarritz. The room was spacious and quiet. Check in was very straightforward. We had a wonderful stay.

Ok but over priced

Old building but rooms fine although nothing special.. somewhat dated… high price for what received… better options in center of town for half the price

Central location. Lots of character. Staff very helpful. Provided restaurant recommendations. We went to 2 of the recommended & they were excellent.

The staff were excellent, the location of the property was fantastic. Easy walk to everywhere. The garden was a superb place to sit with a glass of wine and relax

Breakfast wasn’t to my liking and expensive

Location was great and the staff were lovely. Decent sized room in a lovely old manor house.

The room felt very dated in terms of furniture and design elements. For the price, I was expecting a more elevated experience. The breakfast was very overpriced.

Absolutely loved this small boutique hotel. Full of character, lovely understated decor, excellent quiet but central location, welcoming and attentive staff. A perfect chic hideaway from which to enjoy lovely Biarritz ! I will certainly be staying here again in future.

Only reason I didn't give it 10/10 was that it would benefit from a slightly upgraded breakfast offer.
