Campanile NATURE - Biarritz

Room is a good size, well equipped and clean. Easy location for a one night stop. Close to a supermarket if you wanted to get breakfast to go. Netflix, etc, available in the room. We didn't use the restaurant, but the food smelt great.

The site is in the process of being renovated. However, that didn't cause any issues with building noise or parking.The hotel is underneath the flight path from the airport. We knew this when we booked. The planes stop at a reasonable time and don't restart until 0800. So, no unacceptable noise levels.

Small choice of food for evening meals.Small selection of food for breakfast, some eggs would be a great addition...

It had reasonable car park. Dina, the Spanish lady, was tremendous. She turned a terrible experience into nearly acceptable.

It was being renovated so like staying on a building site. Check-in was chaotic & zero customer service.

Everything was straightforward. No unnecessary frills. Good value for money. Adequate breakfast. Would have liked not just chocolate infected granola. Integral bread went and only white left. Poor coffee and my wife got hot chocolate when she pushed the coffee button! But nice jam, some cheese and nice yogurt. Really liked having 24hour reception. The staff were very nice and helpful. Overall I'd recommned it for an overnight stay.

The bed was clean. Breakfast ok.

It was cold in our room. Airconditioning only cold air. Not very clean. Breakfast area floor was sticky. In my opinion to much money for this hotel. Staff at our check-in was nice and spoke a bit English. The morning staff didn't and seemed a bit grumpy.

The staff have been obliging in holding an envelope at reception with a small gift for a friend. My friend was supposed to pick it up with in a few days but has gone away on an unexpected trip to attend to a family matter elsewhere in France and was not able to collect it until their return. So I appreciated the staff keeping the gift and letting me know it hadn't been collected.

We had both supper and breakfast at the hotel. Very tasty.

The room was pretty small. No elevator to get our luggage to the second floor and no-one offered to help.

Lots actually. Let’s start with location, 15 minutes comfortably walking from airport to Hotel. On arrival we were advised of room entry time. Able to leave luggage at reception so not a problem. Room was so functional for our needs. Now the beds were super comfy and clean. The shower was fantastic, hot and all showers (2 heads)worked great. Next was location of bus stop to town centre or Bayonne. 1 min walk from hotel and number 5 bus.If you wanted to go further afield 1 min walk to another bus stop for example going to San Sebastián using flixbus. Really great location for exploring but importantly for a hotel, it was perfect.

It was near the bus station and a supermarket .

The room was very unclean on the carpets and stairwells up to the room . It was noisy from the aircraft and the air conditioning wasn’t working very well. The staff were very rude to my son despite the fact we speak basic French !

Location for Flix bus and airport.Bed very comfortable.

Restaurant unable to offer us a meal at 8.30pm

Awful evening meal and had to wait an hour for main courses which,when they arrived were inedible. Such a shame when facilities so good

Great location with nearby EV Charging. The on-site restaurant was excellent with good choice of menu.

At the price absolutely nothing. The hotel was very popular and well run with friendly staff. What’s not to like?

Comfy bed, generous bathroom, weak air-conditioning but works, room is dark but no need to be bright. Very reasonable late checkout by 12

Eggs at the breakfast and no cereal spoon, no soya milk

There was a jug to boil water.Shower worked well with good pressure.Adequate towels.Parking fine outside, others considering?Access from roundabout on entry. Missed entry, immediately after roundabout. Nothing a later U-turn can't fix. Not far by car from Biarritz...if you select car, not walk!

Four staff on desk at entry. One on phone. One on computer but no response. Finally....Advert out front says happy hour. I turn up after 6pm . There was a table of people eating so I ordered a wine to sit in company, but was told to sit at a table outside in unprotected sun which at that time was still <30degC or sit in a small blacked out 'lounge' on my own. I opted to leave. Not a lot of empathy here!Ghastly lime green spot for bags by bathroom. Subtlety?

Near the airport. Rooms small but very clean and the beds were so comfortable.

Motel style rooms so there isn’t the security of a corridor. Was round the back of the building and it isn’t connected to the reception building.

It’s a convenient stop over before the airport

Air con not working and waitress staff didn’t speak a word of English
