- location was excellent plus room view was excellent
Cons -
- Slippers would be suggested to add in the room. Shampoos and creams must be filled up and checked after cleaning the room.
- breakfast can be a bit more varied
- Couldn’t find the car park at first as it is not next to the hotel albeit close by. Perhaps reference to it in the booking details would be useful.

I think you have the best team in Biarritz - very polite, attentive to details and effective. Also very good cleaning. Well done! Happy to stay again and again.
Lovely room and the positioning of the hotel in Biarritz is perfect for the beach and town centre

We were lucky enough to have the best room in the hotel 306 the views over Biarritz beach were worth every penny..Yes you pay for the view, but it is probably the only time you’re going to be there..Just do it..
With such wonderful views over the beach , yep Saturday night is somewhat loud… but doable..
Breakfast was very good ! Everything was very fresh. One of the older waiters, from Italy (I think Ignacio but I lost his card! he works part time) brought us our coffee, turned out to have learned to speak Croatian (my family's language) and he was so outgoing that he bonded with our entire Canadian group. He was so kind, helpful and friendly. He certainly was part of the reason we had such a lovely 5 days at your hotel.
Both the hotel and the full breakfast were pricey but service, location and amenities made it worthwhile.
Friendly and helpfill staff. Bang in the middle of everything. Clean room
We rested here a few days after walking 3 weeks along the Camino de Santiago. This hotel is ideally located just across the street from the Grand Plage. It is a bit on the expensive side, but worth it for the view of the Casino and the sea.
Very friendly staff, unreal LOCATION - in the heart of Biarritz!!! Very good and tasty breakfast. Everything was perfect!
The location was good.
If you are going to stay in the hotel, make sure you do not stay on a hot day, because the air-conditioning system in the Plaza Biarritz is not fit for purpose. The air-conditioning stopped working in my 11-year-old daughter’s room and she collapsed due to overheating during the night as the room got so hot. We had to rush her to the emergency hospital doctor’s at 6am. Thank goodness for the Air France crew who happened to be in hotel reception who have her some medication to help!At the time the hotel was full, the manager was very apologetic, who gave us one single camp bed, but we were not moved for the next night. Suffice to say, the air-conditioning stopped working again, and I got hardly any sleep. On the third night, they moved my wife and daughter to another room, but this time the air-conditioning in the first room (we had two rooms) stopped working. Most of the staff we spoke to, the maintenance and air-conditioning engineers (we saw them) all agreed that there was an issue with the air-conditioning. It seems guests at the hotel have a lot of problems. It was very clear to us that it is old and unstable, and needs replacing. What made our situation worse was the manager then offered to discount a third off one of the rooms for the duration of the stay, which we thought was fair considering we had practically no sleep at the hotel. However, it turned out he had lied to us, because as soon as we left, his boss overruled him, with a 15% off one night of one room offer. Eventually he relented and gave us 50% off just one night of one room, despite we had hardly slept because of the issues. His attitude was appalling, and he even told us we should be grateful that we had a bed! He behaved as though we were refuges, not guests paying a lot of money for a supposed four star hotel! He even claimed that he had spoken to my 11-year-old daughter and that she had told him she was fine. This I found extremely disturbing as he did no such thing. He did not
Staff: Amazing. Ignacio at breakfast, the Lady at check in (I am so sorry that cannot remember her name), she guide us since 3 hours before arrival. Hotel location, the best, the room super comfy, super clean... food great. Parking, a super plus.
That I cannot stay longer.
Everyone we met was cheerful and efficient . Our room was very comfortable with a great view of the Grand Plage. Breakfast was excellent .
The hotel is a very beautiful art deco building, right by the main city beach. Even though the building is old, the windows seal perfectly so you do not hear any noise from the street in the night. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Especially Ignazio at the breakfast and his colleagues did all above and beyond the possible to make us feel welcome.Parking is available close to the hotel for a fee.
It is rather pricey but worth it.As non-French person, I would imagine the breakfast choices to be wider, e.g. an omelette and more fruits and vegetables.
Location, decor, spacious rooms
Not exactly beachfront but not a deal breaker
Location and staff
The noise from the traffic but then we were on the first floor overlooking the road so best to have a room higher up.
The location was great. The room was comfortable and spacious with an amazing view. The staff were very friendly . The hotel provides parking but they charge for that .
Beautiful hotel and very comfortable
We paid for a deluxe room, the room was fairly standard. Only addition was the sea view
