The staff were very helpful and extremely nice. They were able to make a reservation for us at a difficult to get into restaurant. The room was very nice. Probably the best shower I've ever had!

Location was away from the city center but in walking distance. The Bell eloquent building was recently renovated and very beautiful. Dinner at Frenchies was divine! Rooms were very comfy.

One of the best hotel breakfasts ever! Superb quality pastries, range of juices, healthy options, perfectly cooked omelettes. Rooms were adjoining and v comfortable, quiet.Beautiful hotel lounge area. Staff attentive, professional, friendly.

The broken lower lift on arrival. Gave a poor first impression (and then we loved everything else about the hotel)!

The location, its a bit far from the centre and the pool area is somewhat underwhelming.

Was not a five start experience. Our bed was two singles joined together. We pre-booked and paid for parking and our spot was given away on the last night. Laundry service was ridiculously overpriced. The pool was poorly attended with no towels available. We tried to purchase robes at the end of our stay and none were in stock.

Loved the sea facing room with views of the lighthouse. Lots of cupboard space in the bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast buffet was varied and interesting with delicious bread and home made jams. The staff were amazingly helpful.

The location, that we could have meals there if we wanted to. That they cleaned every day and put fresh bottles of water out and came by in the afternoon to see if we needed anything and brought chocolates with them. We had the most amazing driver from the train set up for us by the hotel, and completely yoga while we were there too! And we were right across the street from the lighthouse and beautiful views!

The breakfast was delicious.

The room was advertised as an ocean room I couldn’t keep the blinds open becuase everyone would see me walking by there’s no privacy which means there’s no point in paying that price. The room for that kind of price is tiny. The staff at the spa weren’t respectful, she also wasn’t interested in helping I wanted a service done and I was told there was a time slot she said I could let her know later and when I came back she said it was fully booked but whenever I went down there the rooms were empty and open. There’s also no access to the facilities at night which is when I want to relax in a sauna for example. She was really rude and didn’t want me to try the samples- she said the products were only available in biarritz which wasn’t true. So I bought one thing and then simply bought the rest I liked elsewhere

Breakfast is small . Not many choices.

Staff so polite, friendly and knowledgeable and atmosphere was relaxed but a bit luxurious too

Small rooms and also not well thought out: lack of hooks, towel rails, hangers, shelves…

Location was a 10 min walk to the beach, a little hilly and steps. Lovely choice of breakfast.

The staff was exceptionally friendly. We also liked the spaciousness of the room and the nice, big bed with great linens! We also had a lovely view of the sea.

The hardware (knobs) on the bathroom sinks were very big and difficult to turn (especially for older people). Also, the shower was in the tub and the walls were very tall. Getting in was ok, but in getting out, one had to step up, over and down to a lower level than the tub, which was a bit dangerous. Lastly, during the strong storm that took place, water came in through the deck doors and we had to put a towel down in front of the door.

Unprofessional staff, barely speaks English, with little to none at all knowledge of their jobs.Beautifully renovated hotel without consideration for guest's comfort. One mile long walk to the old town. Horrible food in the restaurant.
