Loved my stay here! Room was comfortable, clean, and staff was very helpful. It was a little bit of a walk away from the beach/restaurants but I would still stay here again.

Very lovely location easy to get the bus to Biarritz. Had a very calm and relaxed vibe. Great value for money :)

Although free bicycles were advertised on Booking.com, there were no free bikes - the only reason we booked this place. Charged almost 20 euros for taxes( 2 pax x 2 nights) yet only charged 5.67 euros in another hotel in Biarritz. Dead plants in dining room and on window ledge outside our room. Decor throughout the building needs a major update - tired and grubby. Found a paper receipt and hairband under chair beside patio door.

Very basic room. Very uncomfortable bed - springs in side! No bed pillows just 3 scatter pillows were missing stuffing. Very noisy hotel. Kept awake by couples having a great time upstairs and snoring downstairs not to mention noisy doors and corridors.

Great location and super safe parking in owners garage.Just a 5 min walk to the beach and main town

Needed a little tlc or a bit of updating but never the less the bedding was super clean

This is a fab small hotel & the well appointed rooms have great charm though aircon didnt work too well in our room. Loved the location, 5 mins from beach and very close to exceptionally nice local bars, restaurants, bakeries & small supermarkets etc if you tire of down town Biarritz! Staff are delightful and very helpful.

My only small remark would be about the air-conditioning in our room however we were there only 2 nights and didn't mention it to the staff. Everything else about hotel was lovely.

A fabulous experience. The kind and lovely guy in charge was so kind to us, helping us with our bags and offering excellent advice on restaurants.

I liked the oldy-worldy experience of this hotel ... a feeling of a bygone era ... friendly staff ... much kindness ... feeling like home .. Nice if you are looking for something different from the run of the mill.

The location was lovely. A nice neighbourhood in Biarritz with the beach within a 10 min walk. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the building decor had a lot of lovely character. The breakfast was also delightful

Our bathroom didn't have a window and the vent wasn't powerful enough to ventilate the bathroom which resulted in mold in the bathroom and a musty smell in our room- this was unpleasant. The room was quaintly decorated which was nice however there are significant signs of wear and tear

The Hotel desperately needs deep cleaning and renovation. Terrible mattress and pillows, the bedsheets made us itching all over. Dirty spots of unknown origin on the walls, curtains. Dirt in all corners. Strong revolting smell of lemon air freshener or cleaning agent in the corridors and public areas. Dusty messy plants all over the hotel. When you go out you have to leave your room key on a key holder at the reception, which is super unsafe since there is no one from the staffers after 18.

Beautiful small hotel hidden in a nice garden. The room was enough big for two persons. Air conditioned. The hotel is in quarter St. Charles - small shops, restaurants, bars, boulangeries, supermarkets very near. Also the laundrymat was 5 minutes. The Grande Plage 7 minutes of walking. The bus stop from trainstation is very close to the hotel. It is possible to buy tasty breakfast. And the staff was really very nice, helpful in every moment.

A previously élégant building which could use some serious upkeep, but retains lovely grounds . But their male staff is a delightful host lending a genuinely personal touch which Compensates for a great deal. Location worked for us as we could walk everywhere but was not in the midst of ‘the action’.

Was somewhat anxious about security, as staff not always there, no secured safe for valuables. WiFi could be better, so be aware if needing to work.

Very polite and helpful staff. Convenient location, close to the beach, shops, and restaurants.One day, they were unable to clean our room (mostly our fault, as we took a long time to get ready in the morning), but they compensated us with a free breakfast the next morning.

One of the rooms had Wi-Fi issues, but we had good 5G so we didn't push for a solution.

There was no kettle in the room, I got sick and simply needed warm water. Also the noise from the other rooms is very noticeable.

Was too overpriced for the standard provided .Rooms were poor, En-suite was poor, Room was not serviced . Garden overgrown .

Group of guest next door stayed up all night talking for 2 nights, there was not tea & coffee making facilities in room, small flimsy pillows.

The room aesthetic was typical French Basque.It was minimalist and pretty. Rooms and washrooms were pretty clean.

One of the twin bed's pillow had hair previously on them.

It was very clean and quiet. Staff very friendly but not intrusive.

Staff were absolutely charming and friendly - a real bonus. They had just fitted in air-conditioning which was brilliant. The decoration and style was very personal and charming.

A touch pricey. Maybe it could be freshened up in places.

Location great - just out of main hub (easy walk though) which meant a quieter area. Very helpful staff.
