Klelia Beach Hotel by Zante Plaza

We initially felt like we didn't get the room we have booked (according to advertised photos) but hotel staff were extremely helpful and tried their best at resolving the situation at the end. They gave us the choice of moving to a different room after a couple of days and let us check out late on our last day which was incredibly helpful as our flight home was only 21:00 in the evening.

Hotel is a Jet2 package holiday destination that brings some of the brit families who unfortunately like to make the effort to occupy pretty much all the sun loungers around the pool area with their towels even before the sun comes up in the morning.Also need to point out that we have been there for two weeks and the lounger issue seemed to be more apparent the first week than the second so hopefully it's not always that bad but still disappointing to see.

Good location of the hotel in quiet area, but close to shops and sea side with nice beaches.Nice and clean rooms with comfortable large beds.

Cats walking freely around the entire restaurant with full permission of restaurant staff, jumping on chairs and tables of customers.

Property location is great. Food was OK

Property indeed dated especially bathrooms, pool area and dinning area. Afternoon shift receptionist rude and constantly on the phone never welcoming any guest neither interested to help.Tables rare prepared for meals. Lots of cats walking on the table. Sun beds falling apart and grass near the pool table never cut looks horrible. .

Eventually the staff became friendlier but it can take effort so I would say just be over nice to them, and they start smiling.

It is clean. The location is amazing. The staff is very friendly. Sister hotel service is great.

It is a pity that they would have two separate buildings and of them is across the road, feels a little isolated especially because the quality is lower than the Klelia main building. The concierge service is not good and of course much more costly than the agencies you can find around the hotel. The entertainment acitivities are not organized by the hotel but they can choose to work with better agencies and be mindful of the service provided. Unfortunately the nice young lady in the night shift did not speak much English so it was very hard to communicate. But her supervisor helped us during day time.

I went on a vacation with my father. Everything was perfect:- fixed location in Kalamaki 10 minutes from laganas, for the famous sights you have to rent a car, you can't do otherwise in Zante- very friendly staff, all questions or problems were solved quickly.- Tasty food, local drink, both at discretion. As much as they tried to be of everything and not repeat.- Large pool, chlorinated water.- room with everything you need.- parking. - Kalamaki beach right next door, 5 minutes.We will definitely return to the same All-Inclusive.

Nothing we could blame

Nice smaller hotel, close to the beach, shops, pharmacy, restaurants and car rentals. Food is perfect and tasty, you have quite good selection of meals every day. Drinks are decent. Pool was clean. It can be repetitive for some, but it was ok for us and we stayed for almlost 2 weeks. Bed is very comfy, but we like hard matress. Beach is 5 minutes of walk, water is clean, but the beach was full of sea weed when we came. It is slowly dissolving, so it may not be there in couple of weeks. You can find parts with nice water access without it, but you might need to walk a bit in a heat towards the city. I do not count it as hotel negative. If recommend to rent an ATV at least for 2 or 3 days and travel around the island. In my oppinion you can find best beaches in eastern part of the island. I recommed ATV, because roads are pretty rocky and bumpy in the hills and you can access beautiful places which with car you cannot. There is 50 kph speed limit all over the island, so I felt safe driving it. Try some trips, the one to Turtle island is quiet nice, just beware of alltrips.co.uk travek agency which has leaflets on the reception. They are scammers.

I would not say this is a 4 star hotel. I think 3 is more suitable. Weak wifi coverage in some places and rooms, slow. You can hear everything in the hotel rooms. First week we were in the first room in the row with mountain view, so we did not have any neighbors from one side, it was perfect. It was probably low season too, next week we had to move to another room because of our reservation. It was above reception view to the hotel middle section. You can hear your neighbors even roll toilet paper in the bathroom. Many families moved in with kids, they were yelling in the corridors late in the night, people always slamming their room doors, they had parties and discussions next room until early morning. I understand this is more about hotel guests than hotel itself, but the experience was completely different. Old pool equipment.

Location, not too busy around pool area, friendly staff

Bed linen regularly changed but quite often replaced with stained sheets. Towels changed daily but some very old and tatty.Food not as good as previous years but some evenings fantastic on the show cooking.

We had the swim up room. Pool was large for a swim up room. Room was very clean.

great location, close to beach and a short drive to Laganas. Restaurants close by and plenty to do.

Disappointing

We decided to spend our vacation in this four-star hotel after reading reviews on Booking.com. Unfortunately, after spending seven nights here, I feel compelled to write an unfavorable review. Firstly, in our room, the towels were changed daily, but they were gray and some even had holes. A safe, which should be a standard amenity in a four-star hotel, came with an additional fee. There were no slippers or hair and body products provided; you had to request them. The bed was very small and uncomfortable, and the available pillows were simply inadequate. The food quality was exceptionally poor, and breakfasts were the same every day. While the dinners might have varied slightly, one would expect more from a four-star hotel. The cutlery in the restaurant was subpar, tarnished, and often dirty. As for pool towels, they were available for an extra charge. The staff was friendly, from the front desk to the restaurant service. Unfortunately, the overall experience left much to be desired. These minor issues added up to a negative impression, and we found ourselves spending as little time as possible at the hotel.

It's a cosy, small hotel very close to a quiet but beautiful beach. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, Klelia is a good place.The staff are very friendly and helpful. Generally, the atmosphere is nice.

Facilities for young children - apart from a small paddling pool, there are none. It would be great if they had some slides, or splashy things and some entertainment, especially in the evening when the pool is closed.The rooms are very basic, I'd call them 'Spartan'. Would be helpful to have some furniture with drawers but more importantly- some washing lines on the balcony to dry swimming suits. Our room was quite run down with some broken furniture which is unsafe for young children.

food and drink- quality very good and varied top marks to the bar, restaurant and kitchen staffnothing was to much trouble to the staff - from the ladies who cleaned the rooms , the maintenance men and the staffon the reception --- Thank you all

the fact that guests in wet swim ware were sitting in upholstered chairs and not worrying that the next person to sit in that chair would end up with wet clothes !!!!! needs a sign to say no wet swim ware in restaurant in SEVERAL LANGUAGES as plastic seating was available in covered outside dining area so no excuse.Hotel was fine - rude and badly mannered guests not so !!!!!

I was travelling with my husband and our little 10months son. We have enjoyed every minute of our stay in Klelia Beach Hotel, though we were worried to go for a vacation with this small baby.First of all, the Receptionist Depy was amazing, so professional, so friendly, she made us feel like at home! She gave a lot of useful advices and gave a lot of attention to our little boy, who loved to come over. Thank you, Depy!Second, the stuff was always so friendly and helpful.We enjoyed our food, which was amazing, simply wow, the variety of food and beverages made our stay full, and our bodies heavier ?The Lifeguard Manolia was always there on her duties, so all parents where calm about their children and their safety!The beach is like 3min away, it was very comfortable to go there and back to the hotel.Also, the entartainment in the evenings was very nice, especially the greek night.about cleaning: cleaning ladies where very friendly and cleaned daily, so honestly saying I was very happy about the service they hve provided!Thank you all for your hospitality!
