    Pros +

    • Staff, service, cleanness, restaurant, food.
    • Modern, not crowded, great service.
    • This hotel is absolute perfection in every way! It’s absolutely gorgeous, spacious rooms, amazing views, perfect beds and linens, incredible staff and service and amazing food. I could not recommend it enough!

    Cons -

    • Quite a bit of hills but they provide buggy rides for when one is too lazy to walk, lol.
    • Lack of choice for pool bar food menu, perhaps a little too fancy for lunch.
    • Nothing to complain – it was even better than expected.

We had a great stay at the Olea hotel – we loved that it was close by Tsilivi but a bit separated on a hill. So you could walk down to the Tsilivi by foot now and then or just enjoy the solitude within the retreat. The design of the hotel is super nice and the friendliness of the staff was striking – the team made our stay even more enjoyable. Also, the food at the restaurants was amazing, we tried the degustation menu at the Flow restaurant and it was extraordinary, we had a really special evening there. Plus: they offer a full vegan option, which I loved.

Nothing to complain – it was even better than expected.

The breakfasts were fantastic, and the other restaurants for lunch and dinner were brilliant. Our room with a private pool and sea view was amazing, a very good size and the pool was the perfect spot that got sunshine until about 3pm (we went in October). The staff were exceptional, went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable. The restaurant recommendations from the concierge in Zakynthos were amazing too, which we wouldn't have found without her local knowledge. Overall 100% recommend!!

The only comment would be if you value your privacy, get a room with a private pool rather than the swim up ones. While the swim up ones are great and a fun idea, they don't feel private at all. We were very very happy we picked a room with a private pool and sea view, but could still enjoy the main pool when we wanted to.

New and stylish hotel, everything was perfect - we loved our room with a deep pool, service was amazing. Also we had compliments from hotel when arrived and in the end of the stay, it was very nice. Breakfast was one of the best that we had, good options for choice, you can choose from menu or open table. Green smoothie and eggs royale our favorites. Also we used spa, yoga and meditation session with sunset view, all were free of charge.

The Hotel itself is beautifull, the arcitecture and materials are earthy, and lovely to be around. Cocoon restaurant is amazing, it turns in to NIKKEI restaurant in the evening, which is just as lovely, staff here is friendly and have a High level of service as well. Flow restaurant, also is really great!

It is clear that the hotel is season based, and the overall service thereoff suffers severely under this. We paid 1.000 euro Per night, and compared to less pricy hotels, the overall service is underperforming to a High degree. The staff itself is friendly, mostly. We had to constantly remind Them of our requests, both in the reception, as well at the morning breakfast buffet, as well as the dinner buffet called ‘Omicron’. We had to call 4 times and wait 24 hours to get a sun-umbrella brought to the room, since there is no shade outside. When you came to the breakfast buffet, there would be standing 3 seaters, showing you your table. You were seated with no introduction, when you asked if you could order coffee, water or your choice of eggs, with them, they would give you a no, and telling you that you needed to do this with our waitress, again, not letting you know who or where to find this person. It seems to have a high level of higharchy, with the seaters clearly feeling at top of this at the buffet. It seemed crazy how there would stand 3 seaters, not doing anything but chatting to each other, and definitely not feeling the need to help out, at all. It is very clear that the buffet needs a manager in place, to oversee how the staff addresses and helps each other. This being said, the servers/waitress’s are sweet, but clearly frustrated and forgetting.Again, the above is regarding general service and specifically at Omicron, not the other two restaurants. The gym is at an extreme case of poorly prioritised space, it is less that 15 m2, and is in fact so tiny that there is no more space then to allow 2 people to work out, therefore you have to book a time slot. Being that the hotel has 90 rooms, 180 guests, there were no time slots available while we stayed there, again, paying 1.000 euro per night, and providing a tiny-gym, which your not even able to book, blows my mind. The hotel is overall really nice, and has so much potential to do much better,

The restaurants were amazing and the extra activities they offered such as Sunset Meditation and Yoga were so relaxing. The hotel was beautifully built and we have direct access to the pool through our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The spa was so relaxing with amazing views.

As it rained on the day of the Pizza making day we missed out on this experience and it was never rearranged. Also wine tasting and olive oil tasting was on specific days which we didn’t know about before. We booked this hotel for these specific experiences so we missed out on those also and they were the main reasons we booked this hotel. Wish we knew beforehand then we could have booked our stay accordingly.

Exceptional breakfast, in a stunning venue with sea view and nice live cello music! Nice staff. No limit of coffee capsules for the Nespresso machine in the room (as opposed to many other Greek hotels, even expensive ones).

No sea view except from breakfast room. The center restaurant in the pool area was very dark, enclosed.

Amazing resort, modern , architectural, beautiful rooms you could swim up to , healthy food selection, attentive staff - a fabulous stay & one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at .

So many fabulous things but if we had to find one thing we were disappointed with it was the selection of music at the main cocoon bar/ restaurant. Sounds very AI / it would be great to have a selection of well known music .

Everything was verry good : the staff was nice, kind, so carefully with our needs. The breackfast and the food was tasty and varied.

Everything was over my expectations. I liked with all heart this experience .

Almost everything. It really is a nice place to spend your holliday on Zakynthos. A few highlights:+ Several swimming pools so it never felt crowded+ breakfast was amazing (2 x live cello concert ❤️)+ room had an exit with sunbeds into a central pool+ staff is very well trained+ comfortable beds+ Location (zante town is 15 min by taxi)+ lunch at Cocoon (restaurant by the pool)+ staff provided great offer of things to do on the island+ Free massage by the pool ❤️

A few things could be done differently to take the stay to an even higher level:+ Nespresso refill was missed a few times+ gym is available but VERY small and you need to book it -

Terrible. Would not go back. There are MUCH better options in this price category!

Design flaws everywhere, run down and broken, only good if you want to instagram shots, service was abominable — run by wannabe models with an attitude problem. Things kept breaking down or just plain didn’t work.

    10ClaraPosted on: 8-30-2024

    The property is truly amazing

There are two disadvantages in my opinion: 1. The wifi connection that s not great and the second one is that most of the sun beds have no shade (I understand that the aesthetics of the hotel would be ruined somehow, but laying in the bare sun all day long is challenging)

    1HafsahPosted on: 8-27-2024

    The pool only

1- The TV was lagging.2- The phone was old and the sound was not clear.3- Ants are found everywhere in the room.4- Curtains buttons do not work every time.5- Room service needs to be called six to eight times in order for the call to be answered.6- Food was not tasty at all and very over priced. 7- Toilet door has no lock.8- Fan was literally uncontrolled. 9- The whole room interior walls were made of cheap gypsum board.10- For all the poor services and facilities, it was not worth 1000+€ per night, not even close.

    10RashaPosted on: 8-27-2024

Unbelievable stay. Everything went out of their way to make our trip so special. Every single employee took the time out to acknowledge us as they went past, we missed breakfast one day - they waited for us so that we could still eat. They also gave us a room to stay in for the whole evening as we had an evening flight. Breakfast and dinner and omicron was fantastic. Cannot fault a single thing. Thank you to the team for an unbelievable stay. You all went over and beyond each day!

    Absolutely nothing

Second year in a row we come to Olea, always a great place. Best solution if you’re looking for suites with private pools, good restaurants (we tried all of them) and great amenities (gym, pool). We’ll come back next year
