Hôtel Golf & Spa Château de la Bégude The Originals Collection

The property is big and green (it has a golf course anyway). It is located very private and far away of everything else. Breakfast was pretty good, we enjoyed the open patio during the breakfast.

We happened to be given the last available room which was right next to the entrance from the parking, so every time anyone was exiting or entering the hotel with rolling suitcase it was very loud. Door to our room was right on paved path.Restaurant on site for dinner service was underwhelming, service was slow since they have very small waiter stuff (one waitress only). You have better chances to have great dinner in the nearby Valbonne town. Pool was on the smaller side.

Large and comfortable rooms, breakfast was okay.Sits on a lovely Golf course, about 25 minutes from Nice, very quiet and relaxing with free parking.

A/C unit had issues for 2 days and we could not sleep well, other than that most things were good.

Wonderful location. Staff from reception to housekeeping very friendly and helpful room was always A+ clean. Great room how it looks very pleasant . Restaurant makes very good food who ever the chef is for dinner times he know what he is doing. A bit expensive but ok. The whole hotel smells great. it was worth the price.

No elevator i had a knee injury and it was a bit of a fuzz. Breakfast needs more variety for €22 per breakfast coffee machine is expensive i talk about the machine being expensive but the coffee is not good very low machine level. Also in the room the minibar you cant use for any thing actually there is a better solution today for that and for the coffee machine just contact me if you interested.

Breakfast was very good. Relaxing setting and abundance of food.

The main road off the premises is very narrow and very busy in the morning, don't venture for a morning run if you want to go back to resort safe, there hardly no space between the cars and the ditch, so no space for joggers. Better stay inside the Domaine.

The restaurant is terrific. It looks rather basic but in saying that, you are spaced well from other guests and the service is excellent. Food selection is not overwhelming but again, delicious and excellent.

I would have liked a kettle in my room so I could make tea.

Room was nice and large. Good bed. The range, practice and golf course are very close to the hotel. Very good golf course.

Same menu all days in the restaurant, nice dishes but not enough variety if staying for many days. A car is needed to visit other restaurants. The gym could do with some weights.

My wife is gluten and lactose free. Vincent wasn’t very accommodating and made us feel uneasy

Lovely breakfast, good selection, cheerful and helpful staff

One slight downside, the shower in room 62 could be better fitted and a screen installed to prevent spray across the bathroom.

Very nice and cute hotel with a great view! We got a suite so it was very big and spacious.

Did not have elevators so a bit difficult to carry your suitcases if you have a higher floor room. Might be better to book a main level room

I reserved 2 separate beds but I got one double . After long negotiation with receptionist he divide the beds into 2 But with minimum sheets and cover and no duvet It was a terrible sleep Although the manager who came in the afternoon tried to please and compromise by giving me the room with the rate of low season

Enough to say we planned to stay 3 days and checked out after first ( sleepless) night.

Major issues with room functionality, shower flooding the floor and causing health risk, rusty metal elements on so called terrace , lack of communication with the reception ( neither internal nor external lines). Questionable reception staff training

A hôtel of charm and character in a beautiful natural setting . The rooms are well renovated , stylish and spacious with all the comforts one expects from a four star hotel . The staff is excellent, very obliging and attentive . From the reception staff , to our bedroom cleaning staff , all our needs were met promptly .

Room in the old part of the Hotel overlooking the Golf Course. Excellent pool and we really enjoyed our round of golf.Restaurant is really nice sitting outside looking at rhe Chateau and the Golf course

Relaxing, great spa facilities and superb staff. Despite being fully booked for dinner, reception staff kindly offered to book us a table elsewhere and recommended some options. Much appreciated (special thanks to Julien). Valbonne is beautiful and only a few minutes drive with plenty of parking. We will be back!

Nice hotel with kind staff. The adjacent golf course is gorgeous and the practice range is also great. The restaurant on the peoperty, which doubles as the clubhouse restaurant, serves great food!

Some rooms are clearly better than others even though they are in the same category. Also, there are no elevators, so it is a but hard to get luggage up the stairs into the rooms. However, the staff was very helpful and did give us a hand.

Fantastic service from everyone at the hotel. Beatiful surroundings, and a good golf course. Food was great as well - we had a fantastic weekend here.

The hotel could've had a few more amenities, like rental bikes, a bar inside the chateau maybe. But this doesnt take anything away from our experience.

Breakfast is amazing - watching the golf course whilst having a relaxing breakfast is the best

The hotel gates closed very early in the evening which meant we were locked out for 15-20mins one night in an Uber with no one in the hotel answering the phone and wondering if we needed to stay somewhere else!

Large clean room. Lovely spa and a big outside pool area. Will be opened soon. Very good restaurant and food. Excellent services at restaurant, spa and hotel reception. Beautiful natural golf course but a little hard to play with buggy not allowed to drive on fairways.
