Great location. Very friendly staff. Sweet little cottage like rooms. Great restaurant.

The room was absolutely divine. Amazing design, comfortable, huge beds, gorgeous fire place and lovely underfloor heating in the bathroom. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are exceptional, wine delicious, indoor pool and Turkish bath lovely, and the horses are wonderful. We enjoyed wishing them good morning and saying good night to them every night. Our 4 year old loved them.

I really wanted to give our stay 10/10 but the food was a bit of a disappointment. Especially at these prices and the fact there are limited options in the surrounding area, the meals didn’t live up to our expectations. Duck was chewy and lacked flavour, everything could do with more seasoning. The bathroom amenities were also a bit disappointing based on the fact everything else was exceptional. I’d have expected higher quality, natural, glass bottles shampoo etc and a better hair dryer. But I am really nit picking here!

Impressive buildings and facilities .

A disappointing experience given reviews and price charged. The rooms were an odd mixture of quirky and traditional design. Restaurant food was also somewhat disappointing compared to the many meals we had enjoyed during our time in Portugal

From arrival to departure, the quality of service was impeccable. We were greeted by very knowledgeable and polite staff who gave us a tour of the area, followed by welcome drinks at the top of the building's tower. Our room was spacious, comfortable and sunny. The room, and the whole establishment were very clean and there was bottled water available, mostly for free, everywhere. The food at the restaurant was great, and reasonably priced for the type of establishment. The wine and wine tasting were incredible!

A closet with more room for the clothes in the room would have been ideal.

Everything was wonderful. Beautiful, quit location (bit out of the way, but we actually loved that). All the staff was lovely, really friendly and helpful. We did the summer wine tasting which we cannot recommend more! Also great breakfast. We just loved our stay!

This was a fantastic experience since the moment we check-in.The staff is very friendly, the room we stayed was absolutely fabulous and very integrated with the region along the comfort.We had dinner at the restaurant during our stay and every time was an excellent experience. The food and the wines are very good.The pool and the bar is also very pleasant. WE were able to order our snacks in advance and at the time they were ready they invite us for the table.For sure we will return.

the property has adequate space for hosting multiple big families, has nice outdoor & indoor pool with a turkish bath. The staff was extremely good and able to organize meals based on dietary requirements / request wish was a pleasant surprise.the staff and the service should be a 10 on 10, while only rating dropped are because of the winery tour and onsite restaurant

the hotel on site could be much better, while they catered to dietary request, the overall food quality and presentation could be improved to match the charges for individual dishes. the tour of the winery could be better, there was no tasters or details of how notes are selected in making the in-house wine, this could have been more properly organised

A fantastic property in a stunning location. We loved the thematic decor of the property. They have some lovely touches like a rooftop sunset welcome drink.The food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the service. The 'wine at the table' experience is a must. The restaurant service was on point.The pool area is chic and the loungers comfortable. The water was refreshing!The spa area was good although the steam room seemed to turn itself off for some reason at one point.The fact that the horse stables are so close and that some of the horses roam the gardens adds a little magic. My wife had a horse riding lesson and enjoyed it.

The only issue was the heat at night from the 'oven room' passing through the wall into our room. We had to blast the aricon to stay cool. Perhaps not an issue in other rooms.

Everything! From the moment you arrive the staff let you feel relaxed: after returning from the spa-treatment the fireplace was lit in our room and 2 glasses of wine waiting for us. The surroundings, the swimmingpool, the staff, all excellent!

Everything was just perfect! Clean, warm, impeccable service, every room with its own design. Wonderful restaurant, plenty of activities on offer. Wood fireplaces everywhere around. The staff was extremely helpful and everybody speaks very good English.

The hotel offers a great space to relax, staff are very friendly.

The restaurant was a let down this time, no good options for vegetarians, staff requires more training.

Second time staying here and we loved it just as much. Wonderful hotel where it's impossible not to relax. The staff are so friendly and professional, always willing to help. Would recommend the Superior Double Rooms - ask for the ones across the courtyard, not above the pool.

First room above the pool but we were able to change. Other than that, loved everything.

Clean design lines and quirkiness of rooms. Restaurant was excellent. Massage second to none, super relaxing. Fabulous pool. Helpful staff. Sunsets at the tower with a glass of wine.

Design over comfort in the bar seating. Looked great but not somewhere you’d stay to linger over a drink. Some cozy chairs would be nice! Felt a little misled over the harvest experience promised but not delivered. Staff apologetic but felt learned lines. Minor points in what was a wonderful couple of days unwinding in the sunshine!

Place is beautiful, rooms are quirky and fun... good size. Restaurant good food, typical Alentejo..

Breakfast for me is a disaster.. You need to fill in a form on whatsapp for each day and it is not easy.. dates set for americans.. you give the time and can eat in different places.. but also in the restaurant you get what you ordered.. breakfast comes preloaded... but too much food per person and not fresh.. we had 9am as time and already fruits old, cheese wet, bread hard.. water comes in a small termos for two people and is not enough for 2 cups of tea.. take ages to get another one.. I suggest the hotel either go back to buffet style or take orders at the table.. it is not that difficult.. this is much more work for the people.. and it is not compatible with the rest of quality of the hotel.. If there had been something around I would have gone out for breakfast.. painful!! restaurant is also not top.. food is good but the servants are not experienced and I felt the sommelier was very arrogant to us.... so, unfortunately this takes down my rating of the place.. also twice I had big cockroaches in the room..
