Reception staff super friendly.

Regrettably the gentleman at the breakfast was not nice at all. He did not open the door when we went to leave the luggage in the car in the early morning. And although we had paid for the breakfasts he denied us even a hot drink to take.

Not so clean and too hot rooms

I enjoyed my stay at ibis budget Saint Paul Les Dax. It was great value for money— quiet, and in an excellent location. Lidl and a pharmacy are just a few steps away, which was super convenient. Highly recommend for a simple and comfortable stay!

The only downside was the cleanliness of the floor. I was traveling with my infant baby, who started crawling everywhere, and unfortunately the floors weren’t very clean—especially under the bed. It would be great if housekeeping paid more attention to that, as it’s important for families with small children.

It’s an Ibis budget close to the route down through Spain. The people there are friendly and helpful.

Warning: don’t pay in advance through Booking.com!If you get there after hours the machine will still require you to pay again before they give you the key codes. The lovely lady on the desk in the morning agreed that I had paid twice but she could do nothing. Getting the refund back from Ibis/Accor was a nightmare they wanted screenshots of my credit card statement, they couldn’t tally the double payments, and then they couldn’t refund back to the credit card, they needed bank account details - WTF Accor????

Plenty of Parking, comfortable bed, easy wifi.

It was pet friendly and provided the facilities we needed both for us and our dog.

Room was smaller than I would wish but perfectly adequate for 1 or 2 night stay.

The hotel itself was only what you would expect from one of these places if you have stayed in one before, i.e. basic with bed and bathroom but comfortable and clean however I have upped my rating because of the gentleman on reception who was very helpful and printed out a train ticket for me. I didn't stop for breakfast but it smelt nice on my way out.

As stated I find these places a bit basic, but OK for a stopover.

Enjoyed the breakfast, selection was good .Parking was no problem and as we've stayed before the hotel was easy to find .

We like to stay at the Ibis Budget in any city. Always comfortable, clean and silent rooms. All what you need you will find at the room.

If you have late check in, you should pay only by card (and even not all cards accepted). Thanks that we had different cards, because two of them were denied. Pay by cash is not possible.

Electric sockets did not work, shower was broken

Good sized room, clean, tidy, all facilities and a good breakfast

The room was a perfect size for two it did have a bunk bed also for one child. The room was clean and the bed was exceptionally comfy. The bathroom was a bath and a shower which was fantastic, the Lidl next door was also a bonus

The TV didn't work properly, myself and my husband had to buy new batteries for the remote control and we also had to fix the connection to the Ariel with a pair of pliers in order to get a proper signal to any of the good channels but we managed it and everything was then fine and we watched the England match.

Property was basic hotel, ideal for one night stay. Good breakfast provided.

No tea/coffee facilities to room

Brilliant stop over night when travelling to spain. Vending machines and book in anytime. Good price and plenty of parking.
