The staff was nice, accommodating, and patient - even though we don't speak a lick of French. The facility was clean, comfortable, and so inexpensive that we could afford a separate room for our teenagers - yay!

The hotel is just outside of town in a complex centered around a casino. The good thing about that was the availability of late-night entertainment and restaurants, but we are not gamblers so probably would have preferred to be downtown.

This hotel was nice a bit older. The people who work there are great. Nice, personal, helping with everything.

Comfortable room with King bed. We stayed one night and went to the spa which is great value for 2 hours. The restaurant meal was superb.

This dated 70’s stippled artex-walled room was ok but floor absolutely rotten, we had brought our dog and this Amtico style flooring (which I have at home) had not been deep cleaned for some time. They obviously put guests with pets in such a room.

Did not have breakfast, a bit disappointed after booking in , the corridor to my room was being redone, and doors were leaning up against walls all along the corridor and no flooring as this was being replaced, the area could of been shut off to the public while the works were taking place.this did not give me a good first impression of the hotel.i have pictures if you would like them as I feel it's something that should be addressed as it does have a negative impression of your hotels.the staff were very good and welcoming. I don't want to share pictures on line as I fe l it should be something deal with yourselves first.

The variety of foods and drinks for breakfast was excellent. The suite was amazingly spacious with sofas in a living room space, small kitchen and balcony. The room was warmed to the right temperature and was very quiet. The room was equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay and the parking space was included. Honest business I mean no hidden costs. Staff were nice and helpful.

Staff were good, room was effective and we liked the balcony. Breakfast was also great and set us up for the long journey to our next destination. The location was great beside the lake and perfect to unwind after a long day in the car. We'll come again.

It would have been nice to be able to get a snack rather than a main meal.

So we have visited this hotel many times but the last time we were out in a tiny box room on the road

So we have visited this hotel many times before but this last time we were put in a tiny box room on the ground level with road noises. Woken up at 7hr by doors slamming although we didn’t get to sleep till 4am by people coming in and out. The room didn’t get cleaned so no new towels, no bins cleaned out. The lady on reception of the spa wouldn’t let us in as we were ‘too late’ although we just literally watched another hotel guest go in. She said her payment system was down so I asked if as we were staying at the hotel she could put it on our bill. She said a flat no. Quite rude. Next day a delightful man on the spa reception said yes of course! So we paid for an extra nights stay not to be able to use the facilities. We left after one night due to illness of my son and reception staff were polite and great but no partial refund or anything proposed in exchange. Quite frankly we won’t be back.

There wasn't a proper bar and the restaurant opened too late for us.There wasn't a lot around to do apart from the lake, luckily 2 places nearby to eat and drink earlier.

Nice and modern, clean and comfortable.

Arrived on time, 4 in queue to check in, went to get a take away, came back took forever to check in. By the time got to room our meal was cold

The rooms are spacious. Even though we hadn’t realised that the pool was not included in the price, the thermal pools were a nice experience.

The hotel is very tired and needs an overhaul. The suite we stayed in was clean but not a particularly nice space to be in. It did not match the photos. We hadn’t realised that the thermal spa was not included in the price. An oversight on my part but the advertising is very misleading.

Paid, what I thought was a good price. We paid extra for dogs, not that got anything for it ! Then €32 for a swim ! The building was run down and past a good face lift.

Very friendly staff. Good (and reasonable price) meal and wine in restaurant. Access to outside space - balcony, restaurant terrace, walk in gardens/by lake. Comfy bed and very clean. Good breakfast options and dairy free milk available. We didn’t have time to use the Spa but the option (at a cost) was explained to us.

Air con in the room was very loud and not at all cooling; limited menu options in restaurant (one to note if you are fussy or have allergies).

Great room, Comfortable bed. Great staff, very courteous.

Maitre d in the restaurant was a bit off-hand.

Never been to Dax. Was going to stay in Bayonne but a big rugby match was on with a lot of people so had to move on

Large, comfortable room. Great balcony overlooking the lake as asked for. Very warm, friendly welcome, everything clean and tastefully decorated. Nice shower & useful separate toilet. No charge for carpark & great advice about where to go in Dax from reception.

Coffee making kettle attached to a tray, but no socket in reach, so had to carry whole thing to plug in near the floor by the bedside. Carpark next to hotel but quite a distance over uneven pavement if you are bringing large cases.

Car parking was very good, reception staff spoke very good English.Breakfast was a bit shambolic, we arrived for breakfast at 09.20 and had to ask a staff member to clear a dirty table, every table was either occupied or had been used and not cleared and cleaned, so that was annoying. The location is very good and the room was comfortable with an excellent shower.

Breakfast was disappointing due to no clean tables being available, and we had to ask a staff member to clear and clean a place for us., Not what we'd expect.

Sliding door to outside would not lock so we had to jam it closed, not ideal as on the ground floor. Room very warm despite turning heating off. Breakfast is poor and too expensive for what it is.
