Charming hotel in a beautiful location. Easy access to the fjord cruises and the Flamsbana train. Adorable, clean room with a lovely view. Great restaurants and shopping nearby.

The best thing about this hotel is location out at the end of the pier area in Flam. We had a corner room and marvelous views of the fjord and mountains. Excellent until the cruise boat came in.

Location was excellent, breakfast was fair, bedding very comfortable. We liked the heated floors in the bathroom…when they were warm. Personnel at the hotel was very nice.

The room was very small, the third bed was a convertible chair, very uncomfortable . The room was very cold, we came from the cruise on the fjord and had to get under the bed blanket to warm up. For the price paid we were expecting a better comfort.

We appreciated the nearby brewery, restaurant, and proximity to the train.

Quiet, near the stores and friendly staff

Everything was 100% perfect. Beautiful hotel, rich breakfast, cozy and nice room, comfortable bed, lovely terrace, and a great location. I love Norway and Flåm.

Great view down the fjord from our balcony, but the highlight was dinner at the Aegir BrewPub - sensational! I expected the beers to be good and they were, but the food was unexpectedly delicious.

It was a bit pricey, but to be expected as (a) Norway and (b) tourist town.

Looks luxury

Overpriced and overrated. Room is very small, the Mountain View was a half covered by roof. No sound proof, can hear the hallway and next door noise very clearly.

The lady at the reception was wonderful. Our departing train was very early in the morning and she asked the kitchen staff to open the dining room for breakfast 15 minutes early.

Location was excellent close to the restaurants, shops and docks for cruises. Room was comfortable with a great sized balcony overlooking the docks and public areas.Breakfast was excellent. Very relaxing.

Our view from the balcony was very good until one of the cruise ships effectively blocked 90% of the views. Not much you could but plan a trip between visiting cruise ships.

Location

Rooms (we were in 2 rooms) were very warm with no way to control the temperature. They said call the front desk, I did several times, still very hot.

The breakfast was adequate. The quality was a lacking as compared to several other hotels that I stayed at during my 10 days vacation. When we ate dinner at their restaurant the waitress added a 25% tip which was very unusual as compared to any other place we ate. When she was questioned she said she was unable to cancel the charge to re do it. However, the food was very good.
