Flåm Marina

I loved that the hotel was a little remote from the main drag, but still an easy walking distance from the action. The view was gorgeous.

I liked it all.

This hotel was right on the water and it was so beautiful to wake up to that view every morning. This was my favorite place we stayed on our Norway vacation.

In the winter the restaurant was closed. No espresso :(

The view is stunning! Best place to stay when in Flam, located just in front of the Fjord, clean l, safe, warm, and 5 min walk from Flam Center and train station, no need to take any transportation.

We lost our wi fi connection and were not able to sign back in. There was no one at reception to sort it out and the telephone number left on the door was for someone who had nothing to do with the apartments

Nothing at all

Gorgeous location right on the water. There is a boardwalk that leads to the property from the main portion of town. It was covered in snow, which made getting luggage there more difficult, but doable.

The layout of the room is awkward with the bedroom located between the bathroom (the toilet shares a wall) and kitchenette/living space. It made for little privacy within and walls were thin, so we heard others throughout the night.The furnishings were fine and basic, as was the bedding; comforters felt nice but were too hot for the set temperature.Breakfast was good with friendly staff member. All in all, the stay was fine, but the price for the stay was higher than I’d expect for the quality given the other accommodations we’ve experienced in Norway.

Highly recommend the Marina! We chose this hotel because of the views, which are fantastic! Our room had an outside sitting space which was great for sipping coffee or a glass of wine. Our room had lots of space to spread out and a kitchenette with a refrigerator.

The Marina is not in town. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the train station or the ferry. The breakfast buffet is very basic.

Flam was one of the my favorite place for "Norway in the Nutshell" route. View from the ferry from Gudvangen to Flam was very spectacular. Flam marina provide me very nice view. Breakfast was excellent. I and hubby also visit a pub around, Fish soup, Fish&Chip, and beer ... very delicious.

The room size a bit small that seem a bit expensive for the room rate.

What an amazing, tranquil and uninterrupted view we had from our balcony. Will never forget it! We appreciated being just slightly away from the main part of the town and enjoyed the convenience of having both dinner and breakfast at the property. Our room was clean, quiet and had everything we needed.

A bit pricey but we only had one night there and it was worth it.

amazing view over looking the fjord. Away from the busier area where the train station is but not to far at all with only 5-10 min comfortable walk. I love the fact that the room comes with a small kitchen.

Not a smoke free hotel. The guest next door smoking while we enjoying the scenery at balcony, we have no choice to get back into our room. 2ndly would be great if the breakfast time can be slightly earlier for guests who taking the early train.

This is a special hotel. Small, quaint and quiet just around the bend of the craziness of central Flam. Close enough to walk everywhere and magnificent views from our room. Bathroom was huge. Staff was wonderful and we ate twice at the restaurant which was very very good. Make reservations to eat there since they get busy. Breakfast was adequate with a nice selection.

As in most hotels in Norway, you only get a few towels. We asked at the front desk for more and they quickly accommodated us.

This is an official complaint regarding Flam Marina Hotel.The location is excellent, but unfortunately, we stayed there on a very bad day when woodwork was being done in the room above ours starting at 8:00 a.m. This could have been forgivable if the receptionist had apologized and stopped the noise. Instead, she chose to scold me for wanting to sleep after 8 a.m., then lied by saying the noise was made by other guests. When I told her I had seen the workers, she lied again, claiming they were working outside. Her third lie was saying she would ask them to stop, which never happened.It’s a shame we stayed there at all.

The view was outstanding. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious.

Breakfast wasn’t as good as some others I’ve had in Norway, but it was still pretty good.

The view is absolutely breathtaking — one of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen. Initially, I found the price a bit high, but after spending the night there, I can confidently say it was worth every penny. The serenity, the comfort, and the location all made for a memorable stay.

The breakfast was rather underwhelming, especially considering the otherwise high standard of the hotel. For such a remarkable place, one would expect a more generous and varied breakfast offering.
