It's in a beautiful town, and everyone was friendly and pleasant. The shower was awesome....amazing water pressure.

I got room that pointed directly at a construction site. It was the loudest room I've stayed in in recent memory. Because there's no A/C you had to have the windows open. I spent a lot of money (for me) and left the hotel more tired than when I got there.

The Breakfast was good as i have stayed there for the past 8 years for my AGM (Every year) and the restaurant staffs have known me for yrs.

The most important issue is the internet connection which is completely disaster !!! have to go to the lobby to work because the room is out of connectivity. This the most important issue for any business traveler . The room chambermaid always forgets either the bath towel or the bath gel or the shampoo.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!

WIFI isn’t working, although the hotel description on booking.com states “Free WIFI is available in all areas”TV couldn’t be used, since the TV cupboard (electric function) was not functioning.

Location of the hotel is great. Staff is super friendly. Buffet breakfast has good options. Free onsite ample parking space. Public transport bus stops right in front of the hotel. Lots of restaurants and grocery shops within minutes of walking. Great lake nearby.

We last stayed in this hotel in August 2014 and this time in April 2024. So we came with a 10 year gap. We had liked our stay in 2014 and expected to have the things much improved but unfortunately not.1) For the double bed they have two single beds put together. I hated this.2) The carpet in the room was pretty old. Looked as if it hasn't been changed since we last stayed here.3) The TV in the room is small with no smart features for Netflix or phone connection. All TV channels were in German.4) No housekeeping done on Saturday without announcement.

Breakfeast was amazing

Coffee should come fresh from your expresso machine not from the self serve machine which tastes disgusting, I could not even drink it!

Situated very close o the lake and hills, it is perfect for hiking or biking base. Breakfast is very good, and there are also lot of additional facilities near by to eat, drink...

the village is super nice access to the hotel with public transportprofessional and friendly personnel room amenities

room need fresh airroom cleanliness with noticeable areas that needed better attention

The building is spacious and there was a great outdoor space. The sauna was absolutely great!

I think I would have like being in the main building.

Room was very big

Hotel put as in a random building split with residential apartments. Not possible to switch off the light and ventilation in the bathroom. Room are being overheated.

Breakfast

We arrive at the hotel around 10:30. When we arrived at our room, the cleaning lady slept in our prepared bed. WTF!!! ?Then we got another room, but at the reception, no one apologized. It's quite common you will find someone sleeping in your prepared bed if you will read all the reviews. Also there was a noise from the street, so not great. Cars, etc.

Beautiful location on the lake.

We were on the street and there is no air conditioning so we had to leave the window open and the street was loud. There was no regular coffee in the room only decaf and there was no creamer.

The hotel is conveniently located between Unterageri & Oberageri thus allowing for easy access to both towns, as well as being on the core bus route to Zug.

The hotel did not meet basic standards of the promised service of housekeeping as the rooms were either not cleaned every day, or when it was eventually cleaned after having to alert management, it was done sub-standard.

Oh my gosh this hotel was everything and more. While the lake wasn't as close as I thought, it was beautiful and a really nice walk to it. I liked getting to see everyone swimming and enjoying the weather. The views were beautiful. My room was facing the sunset and it took my breath away, I would absolutely stay here again if I found myself in Switzerland again.

We weren't able to room near each other which honestly was kind of good and bad haha. I have no other complaints.

The hotel was as good as usual and the staff very friendly and helpful.

The wifi is a problem and has been in the past. If you are a non swiss traveller it is impossible to connect in your room. This is the only problem we have with the hotel, and we get this every time we stay there, which is frustrating.

Food was ok

Boiling hot outside and no air con, our poor dog was extreamly hot. Couldnt sleep on a night. Breakfast and dinner was good. For the price you paying (cost us nearly £300 a night) bit dated and very hot. Check in 2pm came to hotel 2:40pm only received a key at 3:25pm. Also if you staying with your child you have to pay £50 for the bed for child to sleep.

Breakfast was fine, nothing special, but was adequate. Restaurant staff was nice and helpful. Price was reasonable for Switzerland, but not up to par with other four star hotels we’ve stayed at.

We arrived and had to wait for our room to be ready, despite arriving after check-in. We were encouraged to go get a drink in the hotel’s restaurant, and then were not comped for the drinks. Then we were told that room we booked wasn’t available, but that it was still a “cool room”. Seems like a poorly managed hotel and definitely NOT worthy of a 4-Star rating. Also, hotel is laid out very strangely, and there was no air conditioning in the rooms. Last thing, when we were waiting retrieve our bags from the front desk (before finally checking in), the front desk worker (maybe the manager?) was having an extensive chat with the new housekeeping that we were privy to. It was both unprofessional and a bit rude to have this conversation in front of guests, and also to continue to keep us waiting (after we were already waiting!). Will not stay again.

we have choosed the room while booking the hotel and when checking-in they just give us the room keys and when we enter inside the room firstly they didn’t provide us the same room that we paid/choosed ,secondly the room was so dirty and without cleaning seems like someone just checked out and leave like that .we told to the receptionist but he came and just took the video in his mobile phone and nothing else. nothing worth it according to their price and service. not recommended.
