Emelisse Nature Resort

The Resort is situated in a fantastic location - near lovely beaches and Fiskardo for dinner and excursions. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained.

The guest services desk staff were among the worst I've ever experienced. Our arrival: Check in was a disaster - leaving us stranded at a locked gate after a long tired day of travel - then leading us to an open road for parking our rental car - when all the materials state there is parking available. Then, for our departure: No opportunity for an extended check out - even while materials state that it is easily granted. The kicker, no apologies. They did not care. Every request made with the desk was received as a bother/burden. With the beautiful location and lovely facilities - hire/train some decent staff and write some honest copy: limited parking and late check out on request, with limited availability.

Property is Lovely and the adults pool is a wonder.Another highlight is the private Rocky beach area, astonishing!

For the price paid, The service was not 5 star in the réception and on the ammenities we needed. We expected to be much more « spoiled »Breakfast is ok but not wow, not luxurious . The cosmetics in the shower are in small bottles not nice for the planet.

The pool and beach were nice

The bathrooms are small, theSafe in the room was impossible to use. There was not room darkening curtains only shutters on the outside of door and window that did not close. The turn down service offered upon check in was non existent. In addition getting into the hotel was very difficult via the front gate that you need to call to get access and wait for a golf cart to take you to the reception area. If you arrive after 11 pm after a night out in town you’re on your own to get to your room. Parking is difficult as well if you have your own car

We've been to Emelisse three times now and it is our favourite place on the planet! The breathtaking location, the understated elegance of the property, and most of all the incredibly kind, generous and helpful staff all make this the perfect place to relax. This year we got married at Emelisse and it was our dream wedding - everything we could have hoped for and more. Thank you to everyone at Emelisse and a special thanks to Apostolos for organising the event so brilliantly! Looking forward to coming back soon!

Everything was outstanding, but especially the location is magnificent.We had a large room with a small balcony, from which we were able to see the sea.The hotel has its own secluded rocky beach.

The location, breakfast and the pool area was incredible. The only 5* component of this hotel. Jenny - from the restaurant was so friendly and couldn't do enough for us.

room, facilities, staff/management. This didn't feel like 5*. The spa had no availability for a couples treatment. We were told a staff member was sick and not replaced, Likely due to being close to end of season. The yoga teacher had left. The hotel food menu was limited to lunch options even in the evening. The room was tired and outdated in general and definitely wasn't the feel of a 5*. The bathroom had mold in the shower. The outside drying rack was broken. We did politely try to voice our concerns towards the end and at the end and was met with 'send us an email'. We did do this, but still waiting on a reply.To sum up - this hotel really is in an excellent location and has an amazing pool. However, due to its location we feel it has the monopoly of the area and therefore standards have dropped. We would highly recommend anyone staying near the end of off season to check in advance if they are operating as normal as we were left disappointed.

Lots of noise from room above. Would be better to be able to have tea/coffee and oj available to help selves at breakfast as not enough staff to cater for requests.

Amazing location and beautiful hotel and grounds. Short walk to beach and swimming from the rocks at the hotel was great. 15 minute walk into Fiskardo. Breakfast was great and particularly enjoyed cocktails by the lovely Gia. The hotel was quiet and had a really relaxing, chilled-out atmosphere. Would definitely come back.

Location was perfect, the hotel was beautiful with amazing pool, very close to Fiskardo town with a shuttle service. Staff were all so friendly, it’s very calm and tranquil, had a fantastic stay

Maybe a little more variety with the food options on site, particularly in the evening when generally it is only the full restaurant dinner menu available (which is quite formal). Also, some more options for bad weather. Eg, the pizza and film night was cancelled due to a storm.

Good quality and easy to be at. The pools are brilliant.

The staff were amazing! I have no bad words to say about them. I had an infection and had to speak with reception at 4am and the gentleman could not have been more helpful redirecting me to an oncall doctor and checking on me afterwards. The staff by the pool as well as the restaurant, reception and cleaning staff were just lovely.

The facilities need updating. This was our honeymoon for which we paid a considerable amount of money only to be let down by (i) the size of the room (ii) the lack of natural light (iii) the sewage smell coming through our window and (iv) the poor ventilation in the room which often led to high humidity on the walls that leaked on the floor. The rooms as well as the sauna room and reception are in desperate need of an upgrade. This is not the 5 star resort advertised. The pool cannot accommodate the amount of people the resort can. This results in people not being able to get a sun lounger by the pool. This often leads to odd competition between guests waking up at 7am (before the pool opens!) to go and put their valuables down on a sun lounger to reserve it for the rest of the day. Also, the adults only pool cannot accommodate more than 12 people at the same time on sun loungers. Our flight was delayed which meant that we had to check out of the room but hang around the pool/restaurant until mid-afternoon when we could head for the airport. While we understood that a late check out was not possible due to new guests coming to stay in our room, the staff kindly accommodate us to have a shower after swimming in the sea and before heading to the airport. The sauna room where we showered had mold on the ceiling due to lack of ventilation. This is not a 5 star standard.

Outstanding location and views, friendly non-pretentious staff, and comfortable stay with plenty of amenities.

My wife and I stayed for the last three days of our honeymoon. The hotel was fantastic, with really friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay really special. Would definitely come back.

Fabulous hotel in the best location with an easy walk into Fiskardo or shuttle if you want it. The pools were beautiful with a short walk down to the sea from the main pool where you could jump in and snorkel. The adult only pool was relaxing and peaceful with plenty of shade. Excellent breakfast. Stunning views. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.

We had a seaview double but our balcony was shared with room next door and separated by a sheet of fabric which was a shame as we like to sit out and read but not private enough and always coincided with neighbour so did not use balcony. We arrived by car and it was a little chaotic finding the car park, parking and organising a buggy to take us up the hill to the reception but we got there. If I stayed again would make sure I had a private balcony.

Spectacular property. Incredible location. Loved all the pool options and close proximity to local beaches/ swimming holes. The breakfast is outstanding.

I cant give a 10 star rating because the gym did not have air conditioning. The unit was broken at the time of our visit. This was very disappointing because we chose this hotel because it had gym facilities. But this would be the only negative comment I would give for this hotel.
