Friendly staff, nice location, room was clean

The room we booked was unavailable due to some problems with the toilet and we got a smaller room. Usually, when this things happen, you get a room upgrade not a downgrade as we didn't get any refund.The beds weren't comfy at allThe breakfast is pretty basic, just a few slices of cheese, ham and salami + some milk, yogurt and boiled eggs. The coffee is average.

Delightful family-run hotel, all really friendly and ever so helpful, just a short drive (5-8 min) up into the beautiful, wooded mountain above Veria; good roads, really good service and value, perfect base camp for exploring the area (Veria, Aigai / Vergina, Naoussa, Edessa...)

Great dinner and breakfast, tranquil location among forested mountains, very courteous personnel, warm fireplace in the restaurant, central heating /aircon.

It's like going back in time. Everything rudimentary, very old furniture, . Plus old food that was served to other customers. Dirty glasses, dirty coffee cups. A croissant was probably cut by a previous customer. At the reception a pungent smell of unventilated space. In vain, the person at the reception tried to be kind, because he didn't help much in such situations. We will definitely not be back.

Very comfy, clean, pet friendly place, courteous staff. Very tasty food, especially the homemade ones. Totally recommend!

Beautiful old fashioned hotel, with a distinct 1970’s vibe. You can just pull up and park outside. There is a huge restaurant area, both inside and on the terrace. Breakfast is included, with a pretty good range of options.Best of all, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. When we locked ourselves out of our car, they immediately arranged for locksmiths to come out, and when they were unsuccessful and we ended up having to smash a window, the hotel lent us a vacuum cleaner and brush to sweep up the glass.

If you turn up quite late in the evening, like we did, you won’t find the restaurant open, and you will have to drive 15 minutes back down the mountain to Veria to eat.

Really pleasent stay, in a clean and welcoming location. Owned and run by a family, everything was superlative, lot of help from the staff. Food was also good, all my group of families were satisfied. Fresh air being located in a forest area.I had a problem with my car and they gave me lot of support.

Despite the fact that the hotel is 6 km away from the city of Veria, the location was superb and the owners extremely friendly.

Very nice family hotel with beautiful nature surrounding it. Nice and quiet location. Very clean, stuff is extra nice. We slept there twice, before and after our vacation in Kefalonia. They have restaurant with tasty domestic cuisine, reasonable price. Breakfast is good. On our second stay, when we were going home, we had to leave early, around 04:00, so they prepare food for us to bring. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the property is in the beautiful countryside. Incredibly peaceful and serene! The staff is amazing! Maria went above and beyond to help me and ensured our stay was comfortable! We could not ask for a kinder or more responsive host. The family is so hospitable, and Maria’s mom is an excellent chef, breakfast was delicious with super fresh local produce. We loved the town of Veria. It has fantastic restaurants, every meal we ate was excellent. The hotel was an excellent value as well! We highly recommend Hotel Kapsalis — a peaceful, serene place to unwind!

Everything was fantastic!

Staff were super friendly and the breakfast was amazing. It was quiet and the bed was really comfortable. The shower size was above average.

We had some issues with hot water and a strange smell in the room, which the staff did their best to resolve.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly, kind and the hotel had a very relaxing atmosphere. We are glad we didn't book in Veria city centre

Breakfast was excellent good choice of food and location was great , charming hotel with attentive hosts and wouldn’t hesitate recommending for a stay especially if you want to visit Royal Tombs at Verghina

The hotel was easy to find and beautifully located. Ample free parking. Functional room with facilities we expected. Good quality wi-fi. Very nice owner and staff, who were welcoming and friendly. Absolutely amazing breakfast, with huge variety of food available.

The room would be enhanced by having more electric plug sockets. Minor issue.

Great location, super friendly staff and the service. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, free internet within the whole are of the hotel. The only small minus is poor sound proofing but it is completely compensated by the rest values of the place. Hotel located in the very quiet area surrounded by the mountains. Has large equipped children's playground right in front of the hotel and horseback riding for children.

The area was amazing, seemed like Austria or Switzerland. The hotel looks like a hunting lodge, very nice and clean rooms, wide space, beautiful view from the balcony. We were the only guests that night and they kept the hotel and kitchen opened only for us. Always a smile on their face and a good word. And the breakfast was simply amazing!

Very beautiful location. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there on a future visit of the region.

There was no cover sheet on the bed, although I found one in the cupboard. This might not be a big problem when the weather is fine, but on our visit it was raining and only 17 degrees, which would have made sleeping without a cover rather cold.
