Room very big. There is a public ferry port opposite the hotel and very convenience in checking ferry time table at the reception. Reception giving good advice in free parking that is 500m+- from the hotel. There are several cheap but taste good restaurants nearby the hotel. Great breakfast !

Place is managed by swiss customer. You have 2 hrs check in time. If you missed it..you have a problem. The people handling the prpperty localy doesnt understand single ward in english and the waman is grampy

Skip this acvomodation..go for real b&b managed by locals

It is at perfect location, in 50 meters there is the bus stop and boat stop.

The staff was so accommodating in every way! The people working there really make an effort to make sure you enjoy your time in Tremezzo. We didn’t like how small our original room was and they really worked hard to get us an upgrade. You want a balcony with a lake view if you can get it!

The property and hotel are older and showing their age - all the steps are difficult with a lot of luggage and lifts are small - pack light. The outside patio and pool need a refresh

The location was excellent. The rooms were great. the breakfast was decent.

The only thing that was really bad is the wifi, no service.

No parking for car. Elevator is too long to wait for. One electric socket in the room (!) and one in the bathroom . So you have to take turns to charge your phone . ?‍♂️Waiters at the restaurant or buffet are very unpleasant and deceiving. Even though I told the waiter we had bought dinner for fixed price 30€ each guest the waiter brought us bottle of still water and they charged us for it. The food for dinner was awful . I am glad we didn’t buy a breakfast. We ate outside. Terrace at the back of the hotel is good place to sit and relax , they have night lights but they don’t let you use them, and there is no electricity . So prepare to sit in the dark with you own night light.The swimming pool ? I guess you can call it a swimming pool?‍♂️I get it , hotel is trying to save expenses it’s very obvious . I would not consider coming back and will look at other options next time.

Dated property. Clean but old. Felt like it was understaffed because there were furniture items stored on the Terrace which could’ve been a lovely place for guests to sit otherwise . Because of that some areas of the property had a slightly rundown feel.Bedrooms were functional, but the mattress was not very comfortable . Bedding was minimal. Not very luxurious at all. Restaurant N26 had great food and great service . Breakfast was included in the room rent but was just okay.

Good value for money. Hotel right in front of the ferry stop. Lots of restaurants and activities around the area. Farmacia right down the hotel. Staff was accommodating and speaks English. Room was big enough and bed/AC surprisingly comfortable. Cleaner than most hotels we’ve been in. Breakfast was good (eggs and croissant were perfect). Very understanding for early and late checkout, dind’t incur any fees.

Did not affect our stay but recommend to have some of the dented scratched furnitures (table, bed frames, cabinet) be repaired for a more pleasing aesthetic. Also, adding room slippers would be more fitting for guests who choose not to bring their shoes indoors. Pool area right beside a residential house so it felt a bit off. Had a man by his veranda fuming his cigar while we relax.

Beautiful location, and facilities, as well as staff

The location was perfect! Although parking was a challenge, it was not too difficult to figure out. The lobby bar and dining areas were great. Very well staffed and overall excellent service.

We were put into a tiny room on the first night. I didn't know what to expect, so I was content. The room had an overwhelming smell of mildew, and that was not acceptable. After the check-in, I asked the lobby to help me either clean the room or move me, and they were strangely defensive. Immediately stating that they would not move me, and that they would "see what we can do about the smell". After returning, we still smelled the mildew, but it was late, and I told my wife we would switch in the morning. We prepared for bed and turned on the AC to cool the room. It became apparent that the AC was not functioning correctly, so I called for a fan. The front desk agent immediately became defensive with me, stating that I should have called earlier when the maintenance was still in the building. I mentioned that this was my first time spending any significant amount of time in the room, and he then began to go through the list of times I used my entry card, as if this was some form of evidence that I had... Regardless, the front desk agent was rude. This was a different agent, so a culture of poor service is being created in this hotel.

Great location . Great views from the balcony . Clean and comfortable. Perfect for a couple of night stay . Staff was kind and lovely .

Excellent location, just next to the docks, excellent spread of breakfast with live counters, very helpful staff. Everything was just as advertised and expected. Thank you.

Original room size allocated not as per expectation, with no windows, hence we had to upgrade.

So I have a mixed review. My room was perfect. The cleaning lady would put an extra touch on my young son’s bed and put his special blanket and Pokémon placed on top. My room was clean and everything worked fine. But we did not travel alone. The other room was not that great. The ferry port is right in front but it doesn’t run all night. The one called Candenabia runs til late and is a 20 minute walk to the hotel.

So the other room the AC was busted. They brought fans. They offered a room that smelled like smoke so the other members of my group declined it and asked for a different room. They were not accommodating - said we didn’t pay for a higher level room so therefore they couldn’t change their room. So the rest of myGroup slept without AC the entire stay. There was no compensation for this either. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the Air Conditioning. The pool was ok, though it had a dark film around where the water line would have been.

Rooms are tiny, only one power outlet in the main room other one is in the bathroom, no iron provided unless you asked but no iron board given. Small is extremely small can't event turn around. Location is 1 hour from main train station.
