About

Located directly on the shores of Lake Garda, the 4-star Hotel Del Porto is in a pedestrian area in the center of Torri Del Benaco. Its rooftop terrace offers panoramic views of the lake, town and mountains. Set in the main hotel or in separate buildings, rooms are elegant and decorated with wood floors. Each one has air conditioning and an LCD TV with satellite channels. Some rooms have a balcony with views of the lake. The extensive breakfast buffet includes both savory and sweet food. Del Porto Hotel is 328 feet from the Scaligero Castle and a 5-minute walk from the pier, where boats leave for the other side of Lake Garda. If there is availability, guests arriving by car can book a car spot in an underground garage 2625 feet away and a member of the staff will show them to the hotel.

    Pros +

    • Nice and friendly staff both at the front desk and the restaurant. The room and facilities are fine though nothing out of the ordinary. We took advantage of the special parking arrangement this hotel has as a result of the ZTL restrictions on automobiles, and it was a quite different experience being chauffeured from the nearby garage to the hotel in an electric golf cart, but we thoroughly enjoyed the little ride, a lazy way to have a bit of a look around before check-in. After a great dinner on the edge of the lake at the hotel restaurant we lounged for a while in the sofa outside the hotel bar, just enjoying life in one of Italy’s most iconic places. The next morning after the lovely breakfast buffet we went for a stroll before continuing north.
    • The view is great, and the place is special and relaxing
    • Outstanding European style and luxury with friendly staff and great location!

    Cons -

    • I think the high price is probably due to the attractive location otherwise we really don’t have any complaints.
    • The internet wasn’t good and kept disconnecting, but the magical place makes you forget about it
    • The rooms are comfort, but missing decorations. Additionally, there was an extra charge for parking.

Fantastic location front to the lake.

The location is perfect. Torri is such a great spot. Everything was handled very competently by the staff. We only had breakfast at the hotel and it was fine each day.

Very spacious. Great breakfast. Wonderful staff.

Room equipment seems a bit old and loose. The view to the lake is not direct, you have to stand in the balcony to see it

Almost everything. The staff were lovely and especially the girl on reception mornings who was incredibly helpful and very efficient.

The hotel restaurant ( for dinner )wasn't as good this year . Last year we thoroughly enjoyed their restaurant. The staff ??

The location was perfect, the staff were great and they helped us celebrate our anniversary with a bottle of Prosecco.

    Could use fluffier pillows.

A lot of options for accommodation. I stayed in old building in upper most room. I loved it but it only works for shorter people as is built into attic. Most rooms are not like this. Service was exceptional at reception. The property has fabulous restaurant and view.

We loved every single moment and every single thing about this hotel and our stay.It was our first time at Lake Garda. We were blown away by its beauty and the overall atmosphere of the place. The hotel's location right by the lake is perfect. We had a room with a side lake view. Which, basically, is a full lake view, we found, and we couldn't get enough of it. We loved reading and just watching the world (and ducks!) go by from our balcony or venturing out for long walks, going swimming in the lake, exploring the small town's little alleys and shops and eating and drinking in the many closeby restaurants right by the waterfront or a little further back in the little alleyways. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was clean and, while not huge, never felt small either. It had everything we needed for those times that we chose to spend some moments being inside with the air conditioning. :-)The bed was great too! I have some back issues, and found the bed really comfortable!Thank you, everyone at Hotel del Porto, for making our anniversary trip so special!Lake Garda

There was nothing not to like. Our stay was perfect. Special thanks to the friendly and helpful staff too.

Beautiful lakeside view right in the heart of Torri we visited for a wedding and they staff were extremely helpful, food was lovely and the rooms very clean with everything needed, would definitely stay again

Even though there wasn’t a pool you’re literally lakeside

    Lovely and clean, very comfortable.

We travelled across north Italy and this was the highlight of our trip. The hotel is absolutely amazing, modern and well kept, the room is huge and the view is out of this world. We had a superior lake view and I cannot recommend it enough. Location wise is it away from the more touristy areas of lake Garda but right in the middle of Torri - you can access everything you need from the hotel. Almost all of the staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Reception staff always greeted us with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was nice in general; but the meal we had on the last nice was one of the nicest I have ever had. The bruschetta and pizza was out of this world; fantastic wine; and Mirko our waiter was incredibly nice - both to us and to our children who loved him. By far the nicest waiter we met in the whole of our trip. I cannot recommend hotel del Porto enough. I would happily stay here again.

    Absolutely nothing. It was amazing.

A hotel in a good location in a small village. Great breakfast (omelette amazing)dinners not to be overeaten - we will have to slim down. So tasty !!!! Plain table wine frizante excellent.

more friendly restaurant staff. I know it's a job only but maybe something more (smile, puzzle, make the customer feel better ....) sorry

Brilliantly located boutique style hotel for a stay on Lake Garda - Torri del Benaco was a real find as a picturesque village for a stay on the Lake with many restaurant and cafe options. There is also the opportunity to swim in the Lake from here. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful - we paid for a space in the undercover private garage and they picked us up in a golf cart with our things and drove us a few hundred metres to the hotel. Well worth the cost as parking on the Lake is very difficult. Spacious, comfortable and clean room facing the Lake.

The staff was exceptional! We asked them to book a private cruise of the lake . The boat and captain were excellent. We asked for fine dining recommendations and they were spot on.

The bed was a bit firm for us.

Incredible service from the staff, great communication and always there if you need something. The location was perfect, centre of town but also in a quieter area without so many tourists. Beautiful spot, beautiful rooms and views!

    Nothing, it was amazing.

The room was very nice and spacious, stretched over 2 level. The hotel is very well located if you want to get around by car or bike. The hotel is close to the "ferry boat", usable also with car to go to the other side of the lake. The respective restaurant of the hotel has good food and offers a discount for hotel guests. Also we arrived after the time for pick up from the park, they very so nice to still give us a lift.

The information about the parking was not mentioned in the booking app.
