Not the hotel’s fault but couldn’t use the spa/pool. We were notified ahead of time so not a big deal. But the room and the hotel itself wasn’t that great. 3-star hotel at the most.

Well a spa hotel , super expensive without SPA. A joke only possible in Portugal. If the hotel is under renovation and not having the full facilities , at least the price should be adjusted.

The breakfast was great, lots of variety and fresh food. I also like the hours for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the touch of complimentary popcorn and sweets in our room :)

The ongoing construction at the hotel was very noisy and this should have been stated before guests book at the hotel. Also not being able to use any of the facilities that are under construction is really bad. To make up for this either the room rate should have been lower or a complimentary gift/voucher/discount at future stays could have been given.

Perfect location just minutes away from downtown via a nice canal walk. Very clean and comfy. Staff very friendly.

Breakfast & Dinner were very good the service was excellent . Lovely view of the end of the canal 10 minutes walking distance to the main centre .

The shower in the room . Extremely difficult to control the temperature .[ High risk of scalding ) Shower in bath . Bed mattress quite hard ot really comfortableDecor slightly worn out . Water damage to walls outside barhroom.

The spa was very good, staff were attentive and nice, rooms were spacious. Located looking at the river. Breakfast is rich. Area with restaurants and cafes, and plant of parking.

We were missing some vegetables in breakfast. We don't eat meat or cheese, and even though there ware fresh fruits, some veggies would be nice.

Couldn’t sign to my room. At bar they said must pay first. No air conditioning needed to open window. Train near running all night. Couldn’t sleep

Very good location , an excellent breakfast with a view. The rooms are spacy and clean. Checking in and out is really easy

Using the swimming pool . There was no availability conresponding to my timing. I found not pratical the need to book for the swimming pool

The hotel is pretty nice with nice range for the breakfast but no vegetables

The price was a little high because it included the spa, we really waited to relax in the hot tub which for our surprise was a dynamic pool and not a hot tub, the water was a little warm but not hot tub in any chance

The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with fresh air and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. One special touch that truly stood out was the traditional sweet they had prepared for guests — a thoughtful and delicious gesture that made the stay feel even more unique.The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.The hotel’s restaurant was another highlight. The food was absolutely delicious. The “sympathy” pricing made dining there even more enjoyable — it was a perfect combination of quality and affordability.

However, for a hotel with a 4-star rating and a not-so-low price, I had much higher expectations. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was to enjoy the swimming pool and sauna, but I was disappointed. First, they asked me to make reservations in advance. I assumed this meant it would be private or limited, but when I went, the pool was being used for swimming classes with parents watching their children. This completely disrupted what I had hoped would be a relaxing experience.Additionally, the soundproofing of the room was quite poor. I could hear wake up alarms from neighboring rooms, and at night, the noise of movement from the floor above and even sounds from the bathroom next door made it difficult to rest peacefully. Lastly, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, which is not acceptable for a hotel that holds a 4-star rating.While I did enjoy many aspects of my stay, these issues detracted from the overall experience, and I believe they should be addressed to meet the standards the hotel advertises.
