- The spa was the best in the world! Very hot sauna and steam room! The jacuzzi had VERY POWERFUL jets and a huge faucet that poured wster so powerful it moves you. It was like a mini waterfall. You could use on your neck, shoulders, back and anywhere else. Also the staff was perfect!
- The location was good. The spa fun and relaxing.
- Ideal location to explore the wonderful Aveiro, plenty in walking distance. The cleaning in the rooms was impeccable. Breakfast was wonderful, so many choices and delicious.Coffee was very good quality. If we had booked for longer we would have used the spa - but didn't have time. We also wanted to use the restuarant but were elsewhere for meals.
Cons -
- OMG the NOISE FROM ABOVE ME IN TWO DIFFERENT ROOMS was OVER THE TOP! I stayed here for 5 nights and every day, almost all day I heard scraping, stomping, dragging and slamming. The hotel itself is very nice! But I hate noise and that put a huge stain on my whole stay here. And the wifi was very poor on somedays. I thought I had the issue resolved one day, but the next day it was erratic again. Third and 4th day went pretty well. I've stayed in 3 hotels in Aveiro and had the worst experiences ever with erratic wifi.
- The room was so small there was barely space to walk around the bed
- We are used to having hot drinks in the rooms so this was a disappointment but perhaps Portugal don't usually offer this facility. We were able to get a coffee from the bar- but quite expensive as an extra. Our bathroom had a perculiar smell, but as I had a cold, only my husband could smell it!

Location, amenities- spa, and great bar server!,
Very eco friendly yet comfortable and clean!
No complaints whatsoever.
The location was good, only a short walk to the village centre. The hotel and the rooms were lovely and modern with great AC , and very comfortable beds, and a good breakfast to start the day!
The room was generally nice and clean. Lobby is nice. Location is OK-although in a residential neighborhood, it is just a few minutes walk from the city center. Take into account that there are not many shops/cafes in the immediate vicinity of the property. At some hours there were many parking spaces free of charge on the street, but in the evening we couldn't see many, so I guess I would advise to search in the surrounding streets, or leave the car parked (I did see they have a garage, but it wasn't offered to us).
The word "spa" in the hotel's name means nothing for the guests, as nothing is included in the room price. So all the nice photos of the spa and pool are irrelevant. No coffee set in the room. Not very spacious for 2 suitcases.
Great location for walking around the center of Aviero. Beds were comfortable, hotel is nicely decorated, easy to navigate. The Breakfast is excellent with so many local choices. The spa and gym are nice to have. If you need a massage ask for Ana--she is amazing. The spa is lovely for an hour, too.
The paid parking is confusing--it is a garage below the hotel with a narrow, well disguised driveway barely navigable in a normal sized car. It is impossible to find free street parking near the hotel after 5pm, so be aware.
Great shower, very good breakfast
Some noise from the street. Floor covering in bedroom area was like vinyl/plastic. Gave the room an Industrial feeling.
It was a great spot to stay. Very clean and staff was helpful.
Parking was tricky but got a spot very close.
Quiet location, extremely clean facilities. The staff were very helpful & friendly.
It was a beautiful place to stay. Location was superb. 10 minutes walk to the stunning town, where you see the colorful boats, restaurants, cafes, and shopping ?. All In all a great visit to your hotel. Would definitely use again
All was great
The room and all of the facilities were very clean and the staff super friendly. The location was good for me being close to the tourist center but in a quiet neighborhood. The Spa was very clean and well maintained and the two Ana's... Ana A and Ana B as I called them, could not have been nicer or more gracious. The front desk staff and the cleaning staff always greeted me with a smile and were gracious with answering my questions, even when I tried to speak bad Portuguese. They deserve an upgrade to ⭐⭐⭐⭐Tip: Rent an bike from RIA, excellent bike, excellent service. I also rented from Biclaria, very nice woman but horrible bike.
A little room for improvement... I was told when I checked in that breakfast was not included so I said I would add for one day only to find out it WAS included with my rate when I checked out. They did not charge me for it, but I didn't go back the other days. And the coffee out of the big machine is horrible, tastes like cheap instant coffee, even as a cappuccino. I recommend trying the espresso machine. Or there is a very good Brunch place close by called Monlou and a gorgeous looking pastry/bread shop across the street from it. And fluffier fresh pillows would be nice.
Location and facility to park.
Bathrooms could be updated but it’s acceptable I was short changed at time of paying for breakfast !
It was modern, well-appointed, and clean. Very well located to amenities and canal.
Rooms were a little too small
The rooms were comfortable, clean and modern, it was great. The breakfast was incredible, you had a lot of diversity and options. Overall a great stay for Aveiro, as it's a nice short walk to the most touristic and historical part of the city.
The entrance of the garage was a bit small, but we barely used the car.
The breakfast selection was good.
There was no coffee/tea/hot water making facility in the room. Also there was no ironing boards and iron in the room.
Nice, clean place close to everything with indoor parking
Breakfast
Everything was paid separately, snooker €4/ hour, spa, €12,50 per hour, gym also paid, water needs to buy from the bar. It felt a bit strange
Nice location, walkable from both the station and historic center. Comfortable bed and good facilities. Staff were helpful
Breakfast was ok, could do with more emphasis on quality over quantity. Cheap plastic floor matting in the rooms and corridors.
