Elegant room and helpful staff. Delicious clams and salmon on the dinner menu. Very good breakfast. Good location for having a car.
There were no glasses in the room. We asked to borrow them from the restaurant and received two.
Proximity to road and quite street
The windows and doors would not close properly because they were too old
The bed was great. Shower good too, but super jet streams, and yet the drain can't handle so much water....
Check in was crazy. Woman took forever, we were given a room which hadn't been cleaned... so after 20 min. they gave us another room on street side (loud).. shouldn't that have been an upgrade? We had breakfast then found out it wasn't included.. the common space looked like something out of Dubai, all fake gold guilt and all... weird.
Nice and kind staffWonderful lobby of the hotelCleanliness and a nice perfume in the whole hotel.
Broken windows.Noise from the street, the floor, and other roomsNot enough parking spots
The room was quite pleasant and the the staff provided a nice crib for a 2 year old. The location of the hotel is good if you want to stay close to Aveiro, but at a cheaper price.
Parking spots were limited and it's not an easy place to find more spots to park. 1 hour before the breakfast ended many of the options were already gone.
The hotel has a wonderful, historic decor with modern conveniences like an elevator and modern bathroom. Dinner in the restaurant was very pleasant and convenient as there were not a lot of restaurants nearby. We parked conveniently in front of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and we were able to set the heat to a warm setting. A hair dryer was provided. The hotel has a very good atmosphere. We were happy with our choice.
The room was quiet and bright during the day. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and airy. The shower was very good with wide area, good pressure and hot water.
Breakfast was basic; however, being low season, the rates were low.
Hotel is very nice, staff is kind, breakfast is acceptable, the room was big with a a nice bathroom and free parking was available.
The location is only good if you are traveling and passing by. The zone has nothing to do around. Just car dealerships and other industrial facilities. If you don't have a car probably is not a good place to stay.
A slightly enforced stay in the area but what a gem. Simple, clean, spacious and fabulous value for money
Moldy
The smell of mold is unbearable, had to sleep with open window.
The inside was beautiful and vintage.
It was outside of the main city centre however, it was great if you had a car. Only a 15min drive
It was clean, good location if you have a car and easy check in.
Friendly staff, clean but small room, good breakfast. Parking right in front of the hotel, perfect accommodation for a short stay.
room very large and comfortable
On the edge of a industrial estate closed down by 10 staff nothing special only 1 set meal available per day could not find the dining hall if it existed.
The staff and the priceBreakfast was fresh
The location near paper industry. The smell is awfull. The room is humid
The beds/blankets were so soft and comfortable.
Location and that the breakfast wasn’t included.
This is a rare find these days, a small, family run hotel. Whilst some parts are a little old fashioned the feel is very traditional which is nice. Bathrooms are refurbished and modern and beds excellent. Breakfast good. Aveiro is a short drive away and very beautiful.
The surrounding village is quite run down and has little to offer.
