Perla Saracena Hotel & Restaurant

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful property, we chose the villa option. The property is spotless — clean, modern, and at the same time wonderfully cozy. Tucked away in a peaceful countryside setting, it feels like a private retreat, yet it’s just meters away from the hotel which offers a restaurant and a pool. Also it 200 meters from the beach, which makes it feel extra special.Another standout feature is the remarkable restaurant on-site. The chef is a rock star, delivering dishes that celebrate local flavors in the most creative ways.All in all, this villa is the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. A dreamy escape — I can’t recommend it enough! We’ll be back.

A suggestion: a coffee machine with coffe pods in the room, please.

A truly relaxing chic hotel in a beautiful setting. The rooms are very clean. The restaurant food was fantastic, and the team couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. Breakfast was brilliant—one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Highly recommended!

We got the room 109 which was just near the reception so we could hear all the customers chatting on the sofa during evening or morning.Also it was a room adapted for disabled people which made the bathroom a bit less comfortable for us. This was maybe due to our request to check in at 14:00 instead of the regular 16:00Schedule of the breakfast was a bit early for a vacation place (8:30 to 10:30)

The positve part of our stay was that they managed to put us in a different (regular) room after we saw what the junior suite actually looked like and requested for either a refund or a change of room.Another thing we would like to point out is that the the waiter at breakfast was super nice. Parking spots were available as promised and the beach etc was in the distance as mentioned. unfortunately our stay was overshadowed by some major issues.

1. the pictures taken of the suite were the promo pictures. Actually, the suite is in a very bad condition and was not only visibly dirty (stains on curtains and bedsheets, floor and toilet) but also had a very bad smell (we assumed because it has not been used in a while) 2. The facility described was not available due to a private event. 3. the pool and sunbeds are completely dirty and not in good shape.4. no refund / discount was offered due to the comment: there is no difference between a regular room and our suite (which was the upper floor of an apprtment) — in the end they refunded us 12€…5. the fridge in our room was not working, we couldn’t find any staff who could change it. it was changed only the next day in the afternoon.Overall, we DO NOT recommend this place in case you are looking for a cozy nice, clean getaway. If you are planning on staying 1-2 nights in a regular room, its fine, but dont trust the very nice pictures on booking. Unfortunately the real condition of this place is different. We also talked to some other guests and they had the same experience with their suite.

Great location close to the beach, very nice modern restaurant and food.

While the minimalistic style is beautiful it's not very easy as there is almost no storage in the room for your clothes. But everything else is fantastic

The hotel is really New. The staff is really nice and they tried to help you with everything.

There are some equipment that it is not fixed it.

Brand new resort in walking distance to the town and beach. The rooms were clean however a bit on the small side. The breakfast was extensive and the food at the restaurant was amazing - highly recommend going there for dinner. Free parking. Recommend checking out Brisa bar in town - great drinks and food.

There's no bar at the pool to order drinks or snacks from. Some umbrellas in the pool area would also be good.

There was only one bed with shade by the pool area. Pool was very cold, even though the weather was hot. Sea was warmer than the pool so coupled with lack of shade, we did not use either at all. Disappointing.,A chair in the bedroom would be most useful as nowhere to sit and a coffee table in the lounge/kitchen area would have been good as when sitting, there is nowhere to put anything ie a drink, which if weather is not great, you would not be able to use the outside table and chairs.Menu in main restaurant was quite limited. We only ate there once due to this.

Staff at breakfast very good, very affordable, nice pool.

The location for the rest of puglia was a bit too far out for us. Would next time stay about 30 mins north as the areas are busier and a lot easier to reach the main cities and beaches. The beach at the end of the road is not nice at all, and the maldive de salento beach is not as seen in photos which was the only reason we booked the hotel - appreciate that’s not the hotels fault.

Perla Saracena is a modern and new hotel. The room we stayed was big with a spacious bathroom. The two massive windows give a nice looking to the sea and to the outside area which two chairs and table to relax outside.Food in the Restaurant was amazing, and the breakfast had lot of choices. Big Thanks to Raffaele (Maitre) as he always helped us in all our needs as my wife is pregnant and has a special diet. Raffaele was very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our small chats with him.Pool area was good with nice sun beds to be relaxed.

The cleaning service between days could have been done more thoroughly.Our room was under the restaurant, and it was possible to hear the noises from the chairs moving during breakfast and dinner. This is a problem from the architecture design of the building nothing related to the personal.

Lack of water, coffee and tea set. Monotonous breakfasts. The cleaning service should be more precise. Lack of information that the restaurant will be closed during the stay.

The bathroom has no towel hangers and hair dryer. In the room we didnt have a remote control for the tv.
