    Pros +

    • What we loved was the staff was so accommodating. We were leaving at six so they opened the breakfast up for us 2 1/2 hours earlier! What hotel would’ve done that. They helped us find amenities along the way couldn’t be more kinder. Hotel restaurant was amazing with true Portuguese dinners
    • No idea.
    • It was really close to the beach and the city center. Breakfast was good enough.

    Cons -

    • Good location. More plugs in the rooms and bathroom. The rooms could be updated.
    • Very poor. Adding to the clear wear and tear of the materials (corridor carpet with holes, bed blankets already 'threadbare', etc.), there are too many signs of neglect, with white towels that could have been bleached to remove stains, exposed and poorly arranged cables and connections of the TV tracks, etc.. And the breakfast period was full of hygiene and service quality issues. Once again, due to lack of care. In the stack of supposedly ready-to-use plates, there were several that were poorly washed and even had crumbs and cheese residue! When we asked the staff for a knife, they gave us one that was visibly dirty! After asking for another, they gave us a second one in the same condition! The signs of lack of care in presentation and arrangement are everywhere.
    • One of the beds was a bit noisy, but for the price we pay, it's not a big issue.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was well taken care of. And the establishment was at the center of everything we wanted to go and see during our trip.

The location was brilliant, really close to the beach and shops. The balcony was nice. The staff were all friendly. The WiFi was great.

The beds were really uncomfortable. The bath had no plug so we were unable to use the bath. The tele had very limited options for non Portuguese speaking. The door was really hard to unlock and we had to ask for help opening the lock on multiple occasions. It was loud at night because the balcony doors didn't shut fully. There was no air conditioning. The light in the bathroom was very dull.

The staff is very helpful and friendly.Location is perfect - 1 min from the beach, 1 min from the train, 5 min from Casino and boardwalk, 3 min to grocery store.Rooms have a little balcony, that makes it really cosy.

I think that would be great if there is a fridge available in the room. Also, there is only one socket in the room (plus one in the bathroom) that makes it pretty difficult to charge all of your devices

Like the previous time that's why I chose this hotel again. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast is also great. The rooms are perfect, clean and perfect for the purpose .

A small fridge in the room might be useful.

Good value for money. It's simple but good enough if you are looking for an economic option. I stayed on the 3rd-floor in a 2-room, 1-bathroom area with my family and we had a good restful night. There was some noise outside, some kind of noisy machine (I don't know whether it belonged to the hotel or to some construction outside) but it stopped strictly at 10pm and then it the setting was mostly quiet even if the rooms are not soundproof.

After reading reviews I got worried about hard mattresses and poor breakfast but both of them were good. The hotel is located very close to the beach - Espinho has beautiful sandy beach.

The hotel has no air conditioning. I knew this in advance and it wasn't a problem for us in October, but in summer this could be a problem

    9JjPosted on: 9-28-2023

The perfect location in Espinho. 1 min from the beach and train station. Lots of bars and restaurants just around the corner. The family room was perfect for 5 people(3 children). It was a double bedroom with a private toilet, just right for a couple of nights.

None of the things below really bothered us, the whole stay was nice and smooth, but just for others to know:The hotel is a bit dated. Humidity/mould in the toilets. The rooms have double windows (not double glass), but the sound isolation is zero. You can hear all the cars passing by which is not a problem between 1-7am. The light also passes through the curtains after 7am.The breakfast was very simple but it was fair for the price that we paid for the room.

Friendly staff. Great location and very clean.

    9JaninePosted on: 7-5-2023

The staff were amazing. The rooms were very clean and serviced daily.

The mattress on the bed was very thin and hard but we still slept comfortably.

    5NeilPosted on: 5-20-2023

Plenty hot water, good bed , ample storage. Friendly female receptionist. Some of male staff should look for new job cause hospitality is not their gift

Broken mirror in bedroom. Roof of bathroom mouldy. Breakfast basic.

    10Szali83Posted on: 10-23-2022

Instead of the two stars the hotel is incredible. The rooms are cleaned every day, the towels are changed every day. The cleaners, the receptionist and the waiters are very friendly and funny. Next time we will chose this hotel again. :-D

Nothing. I could mention the tricky door opening and the weird tap but these do not makes our stay worse.

All the staff are so friendly and helpful... I'm so glad .... Thanks for treat me and my little dog with so much love!!

The only thing was not have a trop service for the breakfast...cause I can't enter with the dog on the restaurant and he Barts outside de hotel....but it's was not a big deal I can took my breakfast to go ! And I hope come back every year.

Location was great. Good size balcony, central to the train station, casino, many restaurants, and the beach and shopping promenade. Very accommodating and helpful reception attendant.

The bed was too firm. Breakfast was meager in offerings
