The beach

Perfect location, right by the beach, with an ocean view. Very close to the train station, which made getting in an out of town easy. Right by cafés and restaurants. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed.

Furniture and fittings were a bit dated and old. No washing machine or drier, which meant I had to rely on launderettes -- not ideal for a long stay.

Suite including bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and sitting room. 100 meters to the beach. Town just across the street. Lots of coffee houses, restaurants, and shops.

The location was great, and the size of the apartment for the cost was a great value. The room was clean, and the kitchen would have been great had we wanted to cook.

I can't think of much of anything other than the shower head tended to droop down. It needed to be well-tightened so it would stay up. This seems somewhat common in Portugal.

Spacious, private with all the basic things you need in an apartment and right in front of the beach.

It’s outdated, carpets are old and dirty and need replacing with laminated floors, furniture needs updating, at least sofas and beds.

I loved the location as it was right on the beach and near restaurants and shopping.

The beds were very firm and the table chairs were very uncomfortable to sit in.

The whole structure need a lot of rework. Even Beds are too old and quite uncomfortable.The feeling is like time there stopped 25 years ago.Poor breakfast

The view was incredible! I stayed on the 11th floor and the place was one of the most perfect hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Besides the spacious apartment which was a lot of space for one person, I had a basic kitchen. Besides the room, the staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

If I could change one thing, I would put outlets near the bed. There were no electrical plugs close to the bed.

Location was good and walking distance to restaurants.

Quite rude and not friendly receptionist at check-in. We're Portuguese residents and the receptionist insisted we needed to show passports for our young children at check in - residents card / Cartão de Cidadão was not accepted. We have stayed in many other hotels and not have this requirement. In addition parking was not available as it was full.

Convenient location on the beach, just a short walk from the Metro station. Great price for ocean front apartment. Large accommodations- a full size apartment with kitchen. Breakfast available at nominal cost (10€ pp) was very good.

The size of the apartments are huge. Loads of space and great views, worth spending on a sea view. Some of the furniture is a bit dated, but thats not important to me, space and views!

The location of the hotel makes it easily accessible. Although cushioned behind the Casino, which can sometimes be confusing to first-time visitors to Porto, the hotel's location is still very convenient.

A restaurant within the hotel would still suit visitors, who are here for the first time. Its quietness makes it, however, the best property in this part of the city.

Large and clean apartment, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful beaches and the 'boardwalk', the location close to the town centre and railway station

On the downside we found the beds rather uncomfortable and hard. The apartments would greatly benefit from new mattresses and more comfortable and modern bedding, a better pillow etc.
