The staff was great, friendly and competent. The location is perfect, the train and bus station are 2 minutes walking distance and the connections are great.There is a store nearby. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. Everything was clean. Free coffee and water in lobby Recommendations

Bathroom was small, at least in my room, but I don't know how it is in other rooms.

the wall room and floor walking area in front of the room are very thin (may be it made by thin wood) that when peoples walk pass we heard noise from out of the room all the time. Also the hotel located in the center of town which surrounded by roads so if windows room open, there are noise from cars.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, and there was a good veraity at breakfast.

I booked the room for 2 nights because of open air gränichen music festival. The staffs were very kind and welcoming. The room was spacious with big window and comfortable. The bathroom was new renovated, spacious and clean. Specially i could drink tasty coffee as much as i like.

I just have a wish. Because there were many guests from the music festival, it would be great if there were brush that i could clean my muddy shoues(got dirty shoes from rainy festival) in front of the door.

I recently stayed at Hotel Bären Suhr and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers free parking, making it convenient for travelers with vehicles. Located in a peaceful area. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. With its reasonable prices, it offers excellent value for money, especially for short stays. Although it's a bit outside the city, it's easily accessible by car. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Bären Suhr for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay.

Very nice room, with lots of space, lovely bathroom fittings, very comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. And breakfast was excellent.And the front desk had spare electrical adapters for use with the room sockets, which I hadn't realised are different from the French ones.

The check in process in the absence of front desk staff was extremely confusing, especially at the end of a 250 mile drive from France. It wasn't very clear how to exchange (once obtained, which again required the written instructions) the front doir key for your room key. Luckily one of the restaurant staff was able to help, or I'd have been sitting in the lobby from 4.30pm until 7pm (check in opens then). Also, to obtain hotel information in the room required a smart phone (which I don't have) to use QR code.

We had the Junior Suite - huge room with a spa and windows opening to a balcony. Breakfast was included and very nice. And not very busy so it was very quiet.

I was informed there was an event that evening and no one will be on reception from 4:30pm- the day before my arrival...when I got to the hotel I saw another poster stating that the event will be until late and I could get earplugs from reception...which was closed? Anyway...the room was small but clean and on the first floor just right off reception...little did I know the event was basically right ontop of my room! It felt like the party was in my room! No earplugs would have helped! I was kept awake until after 2am as the staff were moving all the tables and chairs back into place! Not the room you want to be in when there's an event! I had to be up and out of the hotel by 7:30am so I did not have time for a sit down breakfast...So I requested a vegetarian breakfast takeaway- which was prepared and looked great, until I noticed they put meat on my sandwich?! Luckily breakfast was already prepared and I could grab a coffee (from the machine down the hall as the breakfast rooms coffee machine was not working?!) and a quick pastry... Maybe when there's an event- my recommendation would be to not put anyone in the rooms directly below the event room, because it was truly a very unpleasant experience! Also...if someone says their vegetarian- it means no meat!

The efflux of the SPA bath didn't work well. I little refrigerator would be helpful.

there was no lift in the building so with a small child and a stroller it was a challenge to climb narrow staircases all the way to the 2nd floor

nothing really. had high expectations and was really disappointed.

no lift, no one to carry heavy suitcase up the steep stairs into third floor. old carpets with stains. muffly air. very warm rooms. if you open the windows to cool down you have very noisy streets. no great breakfast. value for money is terrible. don’t book a room in Switzerland, rather book in neighbouring Germany. everything is so expensive and then the quality is poor. there is a huge life size bear in the entrance. but this bear is a sad sight. it must be quite old. but no one bothers to clean, repair and fix him….. and this example stands for the whole hotel….. very disappointing…..

There is an espresso machine in the room. It is an average restaurant hotel with decent breakfast and an option for traditional dinner. The hotel is quite calm during my stay.

The facility is a bit old where some parts of the room such as bath room was renovated.

Very comfortable and quiet.The breakfast is also excellent.Please note that there is no lift if you have large luggage.
