Hotel Alda Mercado de Zamora

A nice old art deco style hotel.

We found it expensive for the area for one night.

It is very charming hotel in a great location

Beautiful building, spacious room, helpful and friendly staff

The hotel is a bit old, with construction happening right outside - not an issue at night. The staff was very kind.

The placed could use an update.

Perfect location, very comfortable bed and super clean.

Interesting building which was difficult to find

Steps up to the entrance no handrail. The breakfast was pretty average compared to all the others we have had in Spain

Nice rooms, good breakfast, good staff.

Heating in the hotel was set extremely high.

Great service at the reception desk. Despite a wrong reservation on our side, personnel were able to find free rooms and accommodate us in record time.

Reception and checking out was perfect; nice personnel; excellent location in the old city. The beds were not the best, meaning not for a 4 stars hotel; in our opinion, the 4 stars rating is a bit inflated.

The beds. Also the fixed temperature of 24.5 C in the air conditioning of the room. We think that a 4 star hotel should have to possibility for the guest to change the temperature setting to his/her own personal comfort.

Everything was fine. The location was excellent and we enjoyed both the room and the breakfast

I didn't like having to step into a bath for the shower. Having arthritis makes stepping into baths difficult. Also the bath was slippery so we put a spare towel in the base of the bath.

A very good location, within easy walking distance of Zamora's very beautiful monuments and, in the other direction, handy to pintxos and tapas bars frequented by locals.Excellent service from reception and very helpful with safe parking for our bicycles.

Not a complaint - it was a large room but the only natural light was from a skylight ( top floor of hotel).

Room is very elegant with a comfortable bed and great bathroom. It has an updated antique charm.

The location is a little tricky to find with google maps.

Clean and situation

Very noisy (you could hear other guests and the padis in the hallway);the uncomfortable bed;the old look

Great location, walking distance to everything Marco and Paula at Reception were wonderful Great value and spacious and clean room, loved it!

No coffee facility in room.

The staff were amazing and the facilities were good. The staff went over and above to prepare me take away breakfast every morning as I had to leave the hotel before they started serving breakfast.

The entry in the car park is a bit difficult but this is a town centre hotel so a tight squeeze is to be expected. There were a few buildings around the hotel which were under refurbishment but this had nothing to do with the hotel.

Good location

Room was very uncomfortable. The bed was so hard and there were 2 skylight windows with ill fitting blinds which meant that you could block out the bright lights outside. The breakfast was absolutely dire. Cold coffee, stale pastries and a waitress who coughed on everything.

Location, breakfast, staff pleasant. What more do you need.

Quiet, clean, comfortable location a short walk from everything (it's a small town)!
