    Pros +

    • Very beautiful boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and management. Wonderful breakfasts and diner.
    • Design: The hotel is beautiful, and actually I don't think the photos do it full justice, it really is lovely. From the walk-way to reception, to the well kept grounds and pool, to the simple but classy interior. The whole design creates a quiet luxury vibe. Food: We ate onsite the night we arrived and to my surprise the restaurant was completely full. The food really was great, and the service professional and warm. You should definitely eat onsite at least once while staying. Staff: Every member of staff we met with was incredible. All so professional, welcoming and friendly. Walking to dinner even the chefs waved out at we past by. And if we were to call out one person for a massive thank you, it would be the lady working morning/lunch service the day we checked out. We shared lovely conversation and she made our lunch feel homely.
    • Best hotel in our entire one month Italian trip. Location is walking distance (about 10min) to the best white sand beach in Italy. We have been to many beaches in Italy this trip, Mondello by far has the best water and sand. Most Italian beaches are very rocky, not Mondello. The hotel staff is very attentive and even helped us reserved beach chairs, so we don’t have to stress about it. The chef is excellent and cook us very healthy and delicious breakfast everyday. The owner Angela is very friendly and greet us every morning. We really feel at home at this hotel.

    Cons -

    • Honestly it's a stretch to find any negatives about Domia. If I was pushed, I'd echo other reviewers sentiment that the toilet roll holders are a little funky lol (not bad by any means, just a little alternative). Also, parking was on the street. The area seems safe, so not a big deal.
    • Minor issue— the walk in the dark alley at night. There are many stray cats in the neighborhood and many of the strays defecate on the streets. We need a flashlight at night to make sure we don’t step on any cat poo.
    • Nothing!

Each staff of the hotel were so kind, the owner herself took care of us so closely. Beautiful warm hotel:)

We had an amazing time at Domìa! The team is extremely nice and caring, the room with whirlpool was spacious and beautiful with a big terrace. We had dinner at the Domìa restaurant one night and it was great as well! The beach is really close and the pool was heated already as well :) would absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely delicious breakfast, the most attentive and kind staff and great pool area. We really enjoyed our stay!

    10EmiliaPosted on: 10-24-2024

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They looked after us a lot during the stay and made sure everything was perfect. Probably some of the best service I have ever had. The restaurant food was by far the best in the area and breakfast has so many options and a well curated menu.

    Nothing!

Stylish property with a personal service

Would have loved a couple of hooks in the bedroom to hang the robes.

    10Greg_o_gregPosted on: 8-12-2024

Everything was perfect. Hotel, very good breakfast, outstanding Kitchen,. room, airco, pool, parking in the street for free. The secret shortcut to the beach accessible with a key for guests. The friendly people making it happen to feel good and relax.

So beautiful and the staff is amazing! They did everything they can to make us feel comfortable. The whirlpool was really nice, and the option to have massages was great!! Breakfast was very nice and staying at the pool for the whole day was very comfortable with all the services provided.

Truly a hidden gem—worthy of being listed on a specialist site such as Mr & Mrs Smith not just for the comfort and level of service but the food as well. The breakfast which is included is worthy of a five star hotel but the restaurant where you can also book for lunch and dinner is also highly recommended. Honestly ate at many local restaurants but this was the over and above the best in the area of Mondello and arguably Palermo. Focus on season and fresh local ingredients. Pool and the garden area where I spent many hours when I didn’t fancy the beach was an added bonus. Just the most relaxing place to stay surrounded by lovely people and endless sunshine. Can’t recommend Domìa enough.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room spacious, bed comfortable. Good delicious. Comfortable sun loungers on wheels.

More light in the shower and on the long mirror would be beneficial.

Comfortable and clean in good proximity to the beach. The staff were lovely and helpful.

We were upgraded on arrival to a room with a jacuzzi on our patio . The hotel and room is modern and clean , tucked away it’s quiet and a short walk to the beach. Our room was lovely , big comfy bed and great en-suite. Staff were so very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional and the food so good we opted to eat there in the evenings . Staff super attentive , advice on wines the norm and fine dining -superb chef and team. We used this as a base to visit Palermo and were happy to return to the calm of the hotel after! Pool lovely for those that don’t want to sit on a sandy beach!

A beautiful little oasis with excellent onsite restaurant and swimming pool. Wonderful staff and a short walk to beach/town

    10LydiaPosted on: 6-23-2024

Everything was lovely. Pool, breakfast was exceptional. Dinner was relaxing, the toiletries and everything was local.

Very comfortable room and bed, high level of service, very pleasant general atmosphere. Mondello beach is a walking distance, and the place its quite close to Palermo and Monreale (you'll need a drive though)

Low level of soundproofing in the room, but comfortable earplugs are available
