Pros +
- Kitchen area was helpful.
- Well-located accommodation with an old-world charm. Clearly owned by art lovers, and I really enjoyed the personal touches. Bed was big and comfortable. Shower small, but that’s Europe! It was great for me.
- Onore and Margherita were charming, welcoming hosts with a beautiful property boasting comfort, space, a full kitchen, and excellent views worthy of the name of the place.
Cons -
- Didn't get daily cleaning service. Yard was overgrown with standing water in pots and lots of mosquitoes.
- The owner had no idea I was coming, despite having communicated about my arrival time the day prior. I had to wait awhile for her to retrieve me, as we weren’t understanding each other on the phone (I don’t speak Italian unfortunately). Really kind woman, but I don’t think she’s super comfortable with Booking.
- My only issue was the wifi; the network posted at the front desk didn't exist, and the only one I was able to connect to had weak service throughout.

The view. Clean. Quiet. The couple kindly organised a trip to the station. This was appreciated.
The wifi didn’t work. We had phone issues and it would’ve been helpful to have had wifi access. The position is great for views but if you have knee issues it’s hard work!We did find it a bit frustrating to find the barest minimum with things like cutlery eg. One knife each ( one was a butter knife) and one bread knife which was used for bread/cheese/fruit.
The location was good being just above the main piazza. Nice and quiet.
The shower size was somewhat small.Possible too much furniture in the room.
Very nice view and good location. Nice small kitchenett. Charming hostess. The small city was clean and nice. Fantastic church with restored wall paintings.
Pillows was too hard. Hostess talked only italian, we used google translate to communicate - friendly.
Good location, near restaurants...quite, good value...
Hike up hill..
The owners were a lovely old couple. Very friendly and helpful and could only speak Italian. They enjoyed the challenge of communicating with us. The room was basic but excellent value for money. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and the position of the studio was excellent quite close to free parking.
Convenient location. We walked to Assisi so hosts let us store our bags and pick them up another day. So appreciated your kindness. Also the hosts artwork is gorgeous.
It was great
Cosy and clean room and lovely older couple running it. We got the option to choose between two rooms when we arrived. We traveled with our little dog and he was able to stay for an additional €20. Our room had an amazing view and the location is just great.
We loved the charming hosts! The location was excellent and the room was spotless!! Non English speaking nonna and nonno where a delight !!
No air conditioning in 40 degree heat but other than that it was perfect
A lovely position in a beautiful hilltop village with great parking. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and the host welcomed us warmly. The art work done by her husband made the place feel special. Good value for money.
We would have liked a kettle and a couple of mugs ☕️
Le Terrazzno di Spello had a good location, quiet but a short walk down hill to the restaurants.
The hosts were just amazing. A very old couple who only speaks italian and who is very nice, welcoming and inspiring.
Very friendly, great location, good value, clean...
A microwave would be nice.
The location is great, near a small public terrace that offers spectacular sunsets.
The parking is was not accessible with my car. Not that it is particularly big, but the narrow road (stone walls at both sides) in combination with the position and size of the entrance gate made it impossible to get inside. Consequence: I needed to park 400m away, on a public parking lot, where I was lucky getting the last available spot. The room (described incorrectly as "apartment") was small but contained quite a lot of furniture, the huge new closets not matching the older furniture. The en suite bathroom was ok but dated, with a small shower, doors not working properly. View from the room was not interesting and only one window.
Room and position were very satisfying, we were sleeping in the heart of spello
the room facilities were insufficient (many of these could.not be used because they were broken)
Very nice location on top of the ancient village and with a great view of the surrounding landscape
The property is very neglected. Rooms are poorly furnished with very old and broken facilities sometimes mended in an ugly way. Parking is almost impossible!
Would recommend. Not much English.
A little out of the way but once you got your barings it was easy to find your way.
The shower was a little on the small size.
