Good Breakfast and a clean place with free parking on site

A little far from town

Only 6 to 8 minutes to most things by car but you get to be in the country where it's peaceful! Beautiful pool. Very clean room and bathroom. Really nice and helpful staff.

Our room was listed as having a balcony but we didn't get one, even though vacancy was very low while we were there. They have a beautiful swimming pool, unfortunately I don't see where it is in the listing so we didn't know and they didn't tell us at checkin. You have to go up the hill, you can't see it from the hotel. Desk was too small to do work. Bathroom very cramped, hard to get past hubby to get to the shower. Breakfast was ok. Lacking in variety typically seen in Portuguese hotels that offer breakfast.

The Staff was very nice and friendly and tried their best to make you comfortable. The hotel is large but very outdated. However the small bathroom was clean and sufficient. We ate in the restaurant which was nice, clean and tables very nicely set. The servers were also very friendly. The breakfast was good and also sufficient, coffee was a litttle cold I thought.

The hotel was extremely outdated. Very difficult to carry your suitcases into the hotel. Stairs up and down - Once inside there was a lift .Not many outlets, very few. to load your phone - one in the room and one in the bathroom

Comfortable rooms, with the facilities needed. Outside the city, but easy access and quiet location. The food in the restaurant was really good.

Excellent hotel. Exceeded my expectations. Staff were so welcoming. Had meal in their beautiful restaurant Marko looked after us so well and there was a good menu to chose from.. Hotel is so elegant and spotlessly clean. Comfortable stay with parking.

Cracking on site restaurant which is excellent food and cheap tbh. Safe motorcycle parking at rear. Very attentive waiter who helps u unload bikes etc. Breakfast good. Continental mainly but they do small amounts of poached eggs and weird bacon rashers. Nice. 4 euros per pint at bar. Cash only there. Hair dryer which was great for wet gloves. Restaurant card, cash or contact less

No plug sockets by bed. Used their fridge 3 way to connect. Old style doors that u use a key. U need to insert card into lights to make them work. So take it off and leave plugged in so stuff charges while u have dinner etc.

Quiet location uet a 10 minutes drive or 30 minutes ealk from the walled citadel. Superb pool, large bedroom and friendly staff

You should really put wardrobes in the bedrooms as it makes things very awkward for a stay longer than a couple of days

Nice restaurant on site & nice bar where we watched the football. Excellent parking behind the hotel.

Great staff, very good value for money, convenient location

Not much

We booked a bungalow as wanted the kitchenette area so we had the option to cook. The hob is an induction hob so does not warm up but the provided specific pans do! In the end we ate in the restaurant and food was ok.Receptionist was really welcoming.Good secure parking just outside the bungalow.Quiet location

The bungalow is at the back of the hotel several hundred metres from the main property. It was fairly cold when we arrived and was reliant on air conditioning units for heat.The Wifi signal does not really get to the bungalow.

Excellent secure parking for our motorbikes and despite a language barrier the staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a good stay. Excellent value for money too. Thank you!

quick easy to book in, staff were fantastic, Rooms were clean and tidy, reasonable size with nice views over the local area, its got a great bar and restaurant for evening meals, safe secluded parking for our motorcycles, With fantastic views from its location on top of the hill outside Braganca.there were 8 of us we used the hotel as a base to explore northern Portugal.would recommend it.

its not a dislike, its located on top of a hill we chose it for where it was ! but its a tuff walk into the main town, and return is all up hill ,but we could have used the local taxi, not a criticism just something to be aware of.
