Hotel Stele di Nora

- Very helpful and nice staff, everyone addresses you with a welcoming smile and always available to help you with any request- location is great: walking distance from the center of Pula- easy to park: there are a few designated parking spots for the hotel guests, but you should be able to find other parking places nearby- good value for the money, at least in late September / beginning of October- though we did not use the pool, the upper deck of the hotel is nice- room size: the room is fairly large, so you won't feel claustrophobic

- building surroundings: the hotel is built on top of a supermarket, so the layout is a bit awkward (the reception is on the 1st floor, but the entrance is on the base floor, so as soon as you cross the door, you face just some stairs and an elevator)- noise: there was a lot of noise creeping to our room, coming from the supermarket. Every day, at around 7am, there was a loud noise of either someone dragging heavy stuff on the floor below, or opening a metal gate that woke us up every day- I don't think the air renovation system was working in our bedroom. It had a bit of a damp smell when we entered (which I suspect it may be caused by some infiltration from the floor above - where the SPA is supposed to be, judging by the paining job on the ceiling), and our towels never dried completely even after a full day. I even tested the aspiration nozzle with a piece of paper to check for any airflow, which did not exist.- noisy room fridge: the fridge is not enclosed, and each time it either started or stopped, it made a bunch of clunky noises that sometimes woke us up.- Poor wifi signal in our bedroom, we could barely get a signal- breakfast: not at the level I would expect from a 4 star hotel: * There was mostly pre-packaged sliced bread, until the day we asked if they could arrange other kind of bread. * hot breakfast was just scrambled eggs.

A super nice and clean hotel. With its own free rooftop pool. Within walking distance of Pula town center, a town with plenty of restaurants and cafes, and a 10-minute drive from the sea. Ample private parking is available. There is a small supermarket behind the hotel. This hotel offers a generous and delicious breakfast. More than enough for everyone. There's also a wonderful pizzeria on the roof, above the rooms. Which is definitely a good thing. The staff is incredibly friendly. They're there for you day and night. We were given every need. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The roof top pool and pool service was exceptional! Rooms were modern and comfortable and service was great.

Very nice hotel with beautiful rooms (with private balcony). The parking is great advantage. Good breakfast and great pool and terrace at the top floor. The city center is 10 min walk. The supermarket under the hotel is also very convenient.

The room was alright, the breakfast and the evening pizza was great. The top-floor pool was small but clean and refreshing. The stuff was helpful and kind.

the location is close enough to walk to the center but the hotel is on top of a large grocery shop; missing a bit of a atmosphere. breakfast was slightly disappointing, staff not very attentive. big selection of various things but no real selection of bread - apart from sweet pastries. we were then offered some toast bread - but not toasted. it might have been just bad organization that morning as one lady left and then came back with some bread. pool looks much larger on the pictures.

Air conditioning smelled, rooms are small and not comfortable and breakfast had limited options.

To be fair, the breakfast was possibly limited although the staff were on hand to prepare "one off" items. Having said that staff were readily available and would respond well.

The hotel actually worked out well, situated next to a supermarket surprised us although it was very convenient. A 5-7 minute walk to town put us in touch with an array of local restaurants.

Understaffed, even for low season. Some times there was no staff at al available in the hotel.Had problems and needed to change rooms twice.

Sayed here for 10 nights recently.The Hotel is not very appealing from the exterior. It is basically in the middle of a carpark over a Supermarket.However once inside, the Hotel is quite nice.The room was the 'usual' hotel room. It had a nice patio outside but unfortunately this did not get the sun.The beds were comfy.Good shower.The room was cleaned daily.Breakfast was continental. Breads , fruits, cereal and some hot foods etc. I personally did not like the cappuccino and opted to go to a nearby cafe some mornings.There is an onsite pizzeria which I used twice , and the pizza was excellent.The pool area was disappointing. The childrens pool is way too big and takes up all the room that could be used for the sunbeds. The sunbeds are also in the shade from lunchtime onwards.There is alot of seating area around but as the hotel is on floor 1 and 2 there are no gardens or green areas.The Hotel is a short walk from the town and also a 6 minute bus ride from Nora beach.I found the Staff to be polite and helpful.I would recommend this Hotel for a short stay.

Wonderfull breakfast.Clean rooms and hotel areas.Lovely staff.God service.Minibar in the rooms.Supermarked in the same building.5 min walk to the city sentre.

Nothing special , but maybe the menu at the restaurant could have been more than only Pizza.The lightning is to bright. Maybe turn down the lights, and have table lights on each table.

Wonderful place, very nice staff, really kind, helpfull. Room was spaceus, with terrace, clean. Really good breakfast. We were happy because of swimming pool too. In the evening was here pizzeria. Next to hotel was market.

I reserved à triple room which was more expensive. They gave me a double with à camping bed for 280 à night ! A joke!
