Restaurant staff seemed a bit stressed and overwhelmed
The location , the tranquil surroundings, beautiful gardens and the staff went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible .
The setting is stunning, beautiful pool and gardens .Lovely comfortable room with a fabulous terrace.Excellent breakfast.
Staff and facilities good. Nice location walking distance from town and also beach. Well kept and professionally run.
Food could have been better both at lunch and supper.
Our room (34) was fantastic with a large private terrace overlooking the pool. It was covered but open on three sides to make the most of the sun all day from sunrise to sunset. The room itself was lovely, traditional in style with a tile floor, and wooden shutters along with comfortable bed made for excellent sleep. The bathroom seemed to have been updated recently with a clean concrete wash finish on the walls and large pedestal sink. I also loved the gardens, it made it all feel very peaceful. The location is very good, it feels rural but actually only about 8-15 min easy walk to the town center with plenty of good food options. Sa Domu Sarda Pula and Monang were really good. And so many amazing beaches, from the beach at Nora, to those in Chia and further west.
The coffee at breakfast was a bit strange.
Great staff and nice pool
Music at the pool could be too loud and all day , not really necessary and was often still on after 11pm making sleep difficult for room near pool and bar .Sun loungers needed more comfortable mattresses not enough for each lounger
The location, pool area with bar, spa and parking area.
The room could have been a bit bigger.
Medium-sized quieter hotel with a lush garden setting, like having a room in a botanical garden. Reasonable sized pool with only a few people claiming sun beds with towels in the mornings. Good breakfast with indoor and outdoor seating. Great to sit outside with coffee.Excellent cocktails for £8.85Lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble. Most staff speak good English, but it's common to find it less well spoken the further afield you travel. The reception was helpful in arranging a boat trip for us with a crew who didn't speak English. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the centre of Pula with ample restaurants and cafes, and a 20 minute walk to a good beach, although we'd recommend the beaches at Capo Spartivento 30min away if you have a car.We rarely stay at the same location twice, but we will definitely return to this one.
There were quite a few wasps around if you sat outside for breakfast, but they were not too much of a problem. The TV was difficult to set up for Nextflix or Prime being in Italian, but I'm sure if we'd asked at reception, they would have assisted. That said, we rarely had the TV on.
The staff at this hotel were very kind but not helpful, if you need something you have to ask multiple times as they are forgetting about you. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean. I also have to highlight the mattresses – they were extremely comfortable – and the garden was truly beautiful, making the surroundings very pleasant.
Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. The breakfast was the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel: the only hot options were scrambled eggs and low-quality greasy bacon. The vegetables were old, the cucumbers tasted bitter, and there were no tomatoes at all. The dishes from the lunch menu were simply inedible. In addition, there was no music by the pool, which made the atmosphere dull. Overall, the place felt more like a retirement home than a holiday destination.
The pool and the accommodation were very nice and little cosy.
The dinner was not good in combination with the service for the dinner. That why we would recommend to eat somewhere else. They are many beautiful restaurants around
Great situation. Lovely, intimate feeling. Beautiful location with lots of greenery. Really nice staff.
No access to drinkable water unless you pay a ridiculous price. Not able to use *only* the jacuzzi (you have to pay for a full 90 mins which includes the Turkish Bath)
The staff were all very polite and helpful- the grounds were beautifully curated and the features were traditionally Sardinian
My second hotel on the round Sardinia trip. I enjoyed my stay. Beautiful garden! Very good parking option behind the hotel with roof cover. Very good food, nice pool. Extremely relaxing and calm place close to the Pula archeological area. Nice reception staff. The room was nice, clean and calm, comfortable beds.
Small pool capacity influenced by towel reservations - but it's more a problem with people than with hotel :-/
Breakfast was very good, room and pool was also good.
Tea would of been better in a tea pot
Beautiful grounds. Wonderful gardens. Clean and elegant room with a comfy bed. Friendly staff and great cocktails!
Breakfast can feel a bit chaotic but that's more the guests than anything that can be controlled by the hotel! The location is quite isolated so it is not recommended without a car.
The garden, ambience and helpful staff
The hotel was a lovely place for a relaxing holiday. Gorgeous gardens and facilities. The room wasn't the biggest, but it had everything we needed. Lots of storage and good Aircon. The staff were all excellent.Spa/massage/drink deal for €40 was lovely and good value.
Just being picky, but perhaps some attention to all the wooden drawers in the room, they were all sticking; just need a wee bit candle wax or a spot of drawer glide. And the only other thing that was shabby were the beanbags at the covered area around pool - they just needed dyed next time they were washed. It would make a big difference to this relaxing area.
The breakfast was delicious and full of variety, the staff were very attentive and friendly (specially Alessandro at the bar). The hotel was exceptionally clean and the poor area so nice and relaxing. Our evening meal was one of the best we had in our stay in Pula. We enjoyed our stay so much and would definitely return!
