Lantana Resort Hotel&Apartments

The pool area was nice.

The property provides the bare minimum - I cannot see how it meets the criteria for a 4-star accommodation. They charge you for everything (including dishwasher pods). Their checkout time was different from what I reserved on booking.

Very nice and quiet resort with beautiful garden and swimming pool. Very helpful and kind staff. We were there out of the main season, so also beaches and city were not crowded.

The location is not that close to the beach.

1. We booked without breakfast, but upon checking in the reception employee offered us a breakfast in good price "for whole of your stay" meaning for 2 days. When we checked out another receptionist told us it must have been a mistake and the price we were given the first day for the breakfast was actually per each day. So we ended up paying double of what we thought we'll pay as this was clearly no special offer. A misunderstanding which turned to be on our expense, ok.2. On our first day at 7am was no hot water under the shower. Before we were able to report this, it was fixed and remained OK through our stay.3. When our kids played football on a grass next to the swimming pool they were asked to move away to another area (covered with small plants instead of grass). The reason was something about this part of grass field being used for golf. I haven't seen anybody playing golf there though.4. Before arriving we asked about a possible earlier check in (rules at booking page said check in from 14:00). We received an answer that the hotel cannot guarantee a room before 14:30 (!). We ended up checking in ~14:00, so no problem, but no flexibility either.

Very peaceful and calm with a beautiful pool. Helpful staff and well positioned.

The bathroom in the apartment was old fashioned with a very small corner shower. No welcome pack on arrival. Only dinner option was a 5 course menu at 50 euros pp

Clean place with good AC and wifi. Enough chairs around the pool. Nice playground for the kids.

We had to pay a 259€ supplement just because our little dog (pug) sas present while the flat was not cleaned during our 7 days stay nor the linnens changed.Bathroom was designed for disabled people with leaky shower and high toilet

Clean, spacious rooms, delicious breakfast and dinner restaurant. Clean pool, clean pool area. The staff members are very helpful. I would come back.

A bit too far from the beach. 20 min walk or 5 min by the shuttle that leaves at 10 30 in the morning. I believe this is too late for the beach.Also, dear Lantana, the beach where you take the guest "Il Villaggio 88" is narrow, the owner is rude and it makes the experience unpleasant. You should refer your guest to another beach nearby. I did not appreciate this.The shower in the bathroom is sooooo small.

Nice pool, frindly staff, clean and well maintained garden, playground, spacious parking. We did not have breakfast nor dinner.

Only 3 minor things to mention:- apartment cleaning does not exist even you should bring your own garbage if you want to get rid of- make sure to buy kitchen staff because you won’t find any (sponge, dishwashing soap etc.)- 12 euro cocktail with nearly no alhohol in plastic glass is ridiculous

Lantana resort was absolutely amazing. In a really good location in Pula. Unless you wish to travel around a lot trust the public transport from Cagliari, one train stop to the city then the 129 bus.You can hire a car locally as you need it

The restaurant was really good but expensive, I think casual dining options would be good

We liked the location, and the facilities. The staff were helpful and friendly. Particularly Kris, the bar manager, who had plenty of tips and recommendations for getting a truly authentic Sardinian experience. He also makes fabulous cocktails which were refreshing and unique. Swimming pool was a good size and the room was clean. Pula and Nora are a must see.

There were no options for lunch or snacks at the hotel during the day. The distance from the hotel to Cagliari meant that it was very expensive to try to get there for a day or visit without a car of our own. There is a bus but the service did not appear to be frequent.

Quiet location, perfect place to relax. We did not rent a car but were able to walk to Pula, the ruins at Nora and beach easily.

For access to public transportation, we had to request a car for transport to Cagliari. Not a huge issue but just FYI.

Pool was good but very cold at this time of the year. Rooms( twin appartment) were excellent.

Food was only okay and expense for what was served

Water in swimming pool should be warmer. It was only 19C water temperature. A bit to cold for me

Location, cleanliness, staff. Property was beautifully landscaped. Large pool area. Very nice breakfast.

Helpful staff, the pool area and hotel grounds were beautiful. Our apparftment was comfortable and spacious with a wonderful view from the terrace.

The apartment could have been a little better equipped for some self catering, e.g. a toaster, eggcups and some washing up and simple cleaning products.

The hotel was kept very clean. Lovely pool. A bit quiet - it would be nice if there were some activities during the day.

I had an issue with a male member of staff at reception. He was extremely rude when I enquired about an event that was happening in the hotel for Ferragosto. I felt very uncomfortable afterwards as I have never been spoken to like this. It was very disappointing and I would not recommend this hotel due to this encounter. It is a pity as Veronica on reception was amazing and more than helpful and polite!Also, the shower in the bathroom sprayed everywhere and soaked the floor every time you used it.

This property is simply beautiful. The grounds and landscaping are super well maintained and the swimming pool is amazing!We stayed in apartment 304 which had direct access to a green area and the pool. It was absolutely perfect for our boys. AC worked amazing which was needed when temps reached 42c! It was also great to sit on the patio and have an afternoon drink.On our last evening, there was live music which we loved listening to from our patio.We want to come back to the exact same room.

- Bed is definitely on the very firm side which was hard for me as a side sleeper. - Some additional things could he added to the kitchen (like washing material) but honestly not a big deal as we were mainly out and about. - Rooms could use a little upgrade but somehow it added to the charm. - finally, laundry available onsite but complicated requiring lots of coins (6 euros per wash) which are hard to come by these days of digital payments. Would be better if hotel charged to the room

Amazing location, staff very friendly and the apartment had a beautiful view to the pool.
