Excellent location. Great food. The staff could not do enough to help us

We were travelling as a group of nine on motorcycles. On arrival we had to go to another hotel 1 mile further up the road to be checked in and make dinner reservations (the hotel we were staying at was basically an addition to the one further up the road, where only the bedrooms and breakfast were served). Unbelievably bedrooms, the meals at the hotel were outstanding and a shuttle bus took us back and fore whenever we wished. The shuttle bus driver was actually the owner of the hotels, a lovely man who also took our meal orders (even though he had plenty of staff). A true gentleman. Apparently the Top Gear Team always stay at this hotel when they are driving the Stelvio Pass. A wonderful experience.

    perfect

I’m a hotel was separate from the main Bellavista hotel and the owner picked us up took us to the main hotel for our food and drinks and then took us back to Hotel OrtlesThe owners which are all family could not do enough for us. the food was tremendous, and very reasonable. I cannot recommend this place enough it was wonderful. There is a ski museum there which is well worth a look where the Father in law Gustavo won many medals throughout the 70s

    Nothing it was lovely

The hotel looked closed when we arrived. We had to check in at a different hotel. The hotel cost 151 euros and it looked half built and desolate, bare concrete walls everywhere. Very inconvenient after a long trip and no one advised us before hand of this inconvenience. DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL, PLEASE.

Great location. Very modern. No food available at the setting only at the sister hotel which is not made clear on the booking.com site.

    No food

Great accommodation, comfortable room, parking available, breakfast was good, they even have a self service bar, super nice.

    Check in in another hotel.

we paid extra for a view from our room which was very nice

Felt like a hostel charging hotel prices. Unfinished light fittings in the entrance hall, a lack of signs showing you where your room is located. No one there to ask or point you in the right direction when we arrived as you check in elsewhere. Only one key for our room that stopped working after one night- had to go to the sister hotel to charge it again. Plug socket in our room stuck to the wall with a sticky tape. Breakfast is advertised 7:30-10:00- first morning we came at 9 and everything was cleared away. The staff looked surprised and asked if we want things put out again? We felt like we are intruding/ being a pain. Someone knocked on our door several times and even let themselves in while we were in bed. Overall too much running around and feeling frustrated and awkward.

Location is very good if you want to start climbing on Stelvio.

    pine smell very strong;no private parking, they have a parking area but is accessible to public;low amount of food available at the breakfast, scramble eggs on request;very cold bathroom, close to freezing;

I was upgraded to the CaseBella sister hotel. Great breakfast. Staff very nice and above what you are used to expecting. Bartender made awesome cocktails, and quality of dinner was superb. Easily would recommend this for people looking to see Stelvio Pass!

The room was somewhat basic, albeit very nice.

Staff friendly caring and accommodating, beautiful location

    8NataliaPosted on: 6-23-2024

Spacious room, saunas of various types, common lounge area with books and plays and beautiful view, self-service bar, tasty and various breakfast buffet, very friendly staff, all the spaces were clean and tidy.Dinner can be ordered in the "main" hotel Bellaavista about 1.5 km away in Trafoi, and there is a shuttle bus organised by the hotel.Bike storage.

No reception. The check-in must be done in the Bellavista hotel 1.5 km away..

We didn't stay at Ortles, it was having work done, so we're moved to another of their hotels in the village, The Bella Vista. So this review is for Bella Vista. Outstanding views

Everything was superb, nothing to dislike.

    9AmeliaPosted on: 6-15-2024

We were upgraded for free which was an added bonus, so got to stay in the sister hotel (BellaVista)! Room was a great size and the view was stunning. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Dinner great too.

Nice staff and location. Pool was nice

Stiff neck. Lousy pillows. Need to have 2 pillows per person as the pillows had no supported.

    10IsmailPosted on: 10-15-2023

The location of the hotel is just perfect. The view from the room was breath taking. Great breakfast in the morning with very helpful staff. Definitely will go back to stay here and enjoy my peaceful time. Thank you so much.

Super clean, warm, and cosy room, with a nice balcony. The entire hotel is really cool and well laid out.Breakfast was absolutely fabulous with lovely staff. Wish I could've stayed longer!

It was dark when I arrived at the hotel and seemed absolutely deserted. No concierge / staff I presume because it was at the end of the summer season. Felt a bit isolated but that wouldn't stop me staying again!!
