Large apartment with nice decor.

Bed was a little firm but still okay.

The property is not faulted

The policy of charging extra for checking in before 4 pm and checking out after 10 am, which I find very odd especially as the flat was ready when we checked in and no extra or expedient work was needed.

Loved the infinity pool and all the open spaces for our group of seven.

Two phone calls to maintenance about the air conditioner and it still did not work. The upstairs was very hot.

globally it is really nice hotel, 4 stars real standing. Take away food service is appreciated. Appartements equipment , including kitchen is nice.

Amazing buffet breakfast (additional charge but worth paying for our first morning). Size of the 2 bedroom apartment was impressive. 4 balconies, absolutely huge wonderful kitchen which was very well stocked. Tupperware for storing items such as fruit. Complimentary water and milk on arrival with tea/coffee. Dishwasher tablets there and replaced. Washing machine! 3 bathrooms and toilets. So much storage space. Very quiet resort with loads of space. Away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal resorts but if you want that then it’s a quick drive away. Pools were excellent and quiet. Gardens and building create lovely scenery.Tennis was great. The resort offers a shuttle between accommodation and the clubhouse and the sports centre which is essential. On demand just ring up and was excellent. Great location for easy day trips (must have hire car) - 3 water parks, all coastal towns, mountains etc. Faldo and O’Connor golf courses great. My son and husband had an hour lesson with a pro on the junior course.

The mezzanine had a sofa bed which was pretty rubbish/uncomfortable and sloping. We didn’t use it at all. Luckily super king size bed in one of the other bedrooms meant I could sleep next to my daughters (3 and 7). The resort should put a proper bed up in the mezzanine it’s an amazing space. If we had 3 full sized children we would have had to have moved apartments or been provided a proper bed. The sofa bed is not useable. BBQ night food was poor (do lunch out on day trips and use self catering for easy evening snacks by the pool!). Music was great though.

Amendoeira is a lovely resort to stay in even if you dont play golf. Apartments are very clean and spacious with everything you need to self cater. Loved being able to sit and watch the sunset and hear the birds singing. We were close to the pool but it wasnt intrusive at all.

Some of the bathroom towels have seen better days. Clubhouse food was mediocre.

Fantastic place for family with privacy. Wide apartment and equipment for all needs. We had nice rooftop to watch the stars in the night and nice balcony to enjoy breakfast and dine outside. Nice pool, sports center. Never noisy and kind staff. location is perfect- close to site-seeing places - caves, therefore during the days we were hiking and kayaking. The shopping center is very close.Parking is available in garage. We definately suggest this place if you want to visit South of Portugal or just relax. If you are good player you will be very busy ? Thanks to the wonderful people in reception and nice young man at swiming pool bar.

Only thing i would suggest to leave more tabletes for dishwasher and coffee. ⛱️

Apartment was lovely, spacious, clean and modern, lovely view view from balconies.. Toilet tissue, hand/shower soap provided in bathrooms, dish washer tablets provided. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Cleaners serviced the apartment twice in the week which was great. Pool was within walking distance. Staff were lovely. Location is beautiful, lots of flowers and greenery.

A few issues, lots of little insects (looked like tiny ants) in one bedroom and lounge area for the last 2 days, had to hoover them up, this was annoying. Raised decking in front of patio door which was a trip hazard. 2 nights of very loud customers staying next door and nearby, noise went on for a couple of hours. One morning, neighbur was playing very loud dance music.

Pool area was nice, we had 3 bathrooms which helped for our family of 4. We could cook our own meals. Close to golfing.

The clothes dryer kept blowing the breaker so we had to hang all our clothes. Door knob in the 1 bathroom kept coming apart. Small ants kept coming in the doorway. It took a few tries to get our key cards to work, we had to go to reception 3 times to get them both to work.

The shuttle service

Cleanliness. Beds and pillows are uncomfortable. Despite being relatively new the whole place is already showings signs of wear. There are no frills. The place is purely catered for golf trips

Upon arrival it was very cold in the appartement, the coffee machine was broke, no baby cot (as requested) was placed in the appartement and the toilet was dirty.

Apartment was very spacious and clean, showers very nice and facilities good. Food in restaurant was good quality. Condition of golf courses was good.

Outside furniture was old and worn and needs replacing. Bird waste on all terraces and balconies. Pool area furniture and sunshades were old and worn including decking area. No shop on the resort. Breakfast was basic and repetitive. Takeaway meals were smaller than in restaurant but same price.Night golf arrangement was misleading, should just have floodlights on for a couple of hours and charge all golfers appropriately.

The golf was great, breakfast was good, and the apartment also good.

The service in the main restaurant for the evening meal was very poor.

No food delivery service as advertised

The resort is beautiful and the golf courses are amazing. This is a place to stay for golf as there is nothing near the resort in walking distance.

Taxi flat rate was overpriced.

Relaxed atmosphere at clubhouse and resort itself but a bit crowded upon new arrival of golfers

parking underneath is cramped and narrow what limits to enter and leave the garage

Large and spacious. Lovely pool. Staff were very nice.

At that price I’d expect it to be cleaned more than once a week, more luxury (bath robe, slippers, toiletries etc).

The location is beautiful calm and pool is very good

Just need staff to come and clean the apartments everyday because wee go gTo relax so need only staff to come clean the house

I love the house It’s not my first time at the propertyBut i think it will be my last.

House was dirtyI had my 6 months old baby at the property and asked more than 10 times to get the house cleanedMy baby had allergies because of the dust
