Pros +
- Wellness was very nice, and included a lot possibilities for treatments and different kind of saunas. Also Taverna and Restaurant were nice and causy and offered a lot of variety and good food.
- We are a family of five with three kids and stayed in one of the suites. It was an excellent place for us! Great breakfast, spa and swimming pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
- Although the room looked quite alpine, the bathroom was very modern. Staff was all very friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of foods. Unfortunately I didn't have much time for the wellness area but there's a lot included. You get a free ticket for public transport - very useful.
Cons -
- Mountain Resort Patzenfeld belongs to Caravan Park Sexten, that is not obivous when you make a reservation over booking. Additionally, all images of the place are very professionally done so that they gave a feeling of much bigger spaces that they actually are (for example open and closed glass teraces). Place we booked should have had a terace and tile floor, which it didnt and it looked very very old styled, which again was not something you could have seen in the preview images for the selected room in Booking.
- The swimming pool was a bit crowded during high season (Mid July), but still it was nice and clean.
- Since I didn't go there by car, I had to rely on the bus. During the day it works absolutely fine - but after 18:30 there's no bus back from Sexten/Moos to Patzenfeld. So you should keep that in mind if you plan on going there without a camper/car.

Excellent stay from start to finish:- fast and efficient communication and check in- clean and cozy room with a beautiful view- comfortable beds- daily cleaning and new towels- great varied breakfast (e.g. fresh orange juice, fresh bread and croissants, eggs as you like, great coffee,...)- good starting point for hiking and trips- grocery store right in the camp- great wellness- nice and helpful staffThanks for a great stay :-)
Great breakfast; spa was terrific
Parking was chaotic. No reserved spots for holes guests.
Location, facilities, great staff
This place was perfect, beautiful room with a view, staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area was incredible and we got to use it for free! The breakfast was great with variety everyday. The room was clean, comfy firm bed and seating area. I had a massage from the spa which was also very good.
Only thing was it was a bit noisy early in the morning with staff getting breakfast set up but not too bad
Absolutely stunning views & location - so special! We booked a suite and the location of the room was great, so close to the restaurant and the spa area - we enjoyed that! Our suite was really big, I loved the living room area and the stunning panoramic views and that the big windows opened! Comfy sofa, TV with Netflix and YouTube was handy.I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, the best I’ve ever had - so many choices and such great quality of everything. They have a fresh omelette and crepe station too! Really great breakfast and we loved the lunch menu, their homemade strudel is amazing also! The spa area is big and has lots of different areas and seating, loved the outdoor jacuzzis with a view also. It feels like great value to have the spa facilities included in the price of your stay. Had a really pleasant stay all in all; really enjoyed it!
You can only use all of the saunas wearing a towel or naked, we had never experienced this before so it was a bit awkward and annoying having to change out of swimwear every time. There are also some jacuzzis that can only be used naked so that was a shame for us. You also can’t take any pictures of videos in the spa areas at all. The things I didn’t like / would improve are; the bedding (pillows and duvet) feel cheap / too lightweight and i didn’t enjoy sleeping on them.We had a huge suite but only one small mirror above the bathroom sink - no other mirrors in the whole suite, really not ideal for multiple people getting ready, there is so much space for there to be at least one full length mirror. We absolutely loved the lunch menu, but the dinner menu was a bit too experimental and unusual for our liking, it would have been great to have some more of the simple lunch options available at dinner too.
the amenities, spa, Resturant, and staff were -all amazing!
our bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable
Hotel restaurant was excellent, both for breakfast as well as fancy dinner.
Great wellness and super friendly staff.
