    Pros +

    • We stayed at Bad Moos for a celebration very close to our hearts and we were received wonderfully. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive—special thanks to Florence, Charly, and Giacomo at the Spa, and Nicolo at reception. The facilities are superb and modern, with a great variety of free activities. Location is a 100/100. Don’t hesitate to book—this place is a true gem!
    • Excellent location, beautiful spa facilities, the most stunning view out of our room to the mountains and over a lovely little stream. Even though we were in the separate building across the street, the view was outstanding. The pool is incredible and they even bring out watermelon slices to cool you down in the afternoons, which was so sweet and unexpected. They provide a lovely welcome Hugo spritz AND had the most incredible guitar player one night that had us stay up way too late to not leave him. There was also a gentleman who would play piano in the afternoons (still not sure whether he was a guest or worked with the hotel) who used to play at La Scala! He was wonderful and so sweet and kind. Still wishing my Italian was better so I could have better expressed how amazing he was.
    • Fantastic food in the main Bad Moos hotel restaurant, including a long afternoon tea with soup, pasta, cakes, fruit, tea/coffee included. Excellent buffet selections for appetisers and desserts plus themed dining nights. Music in the lounge a couple of nights per week. The Muhlenhof is a separate building, with less luxurious rooms, but it has its own ski racks & boot heaters, and you have access to the main hotel’s superb spa, wellness and pool facilities. Charly’s free Sauna/Wellness programme is wonderful. The Rotwand Lift is right at the hotel. Bus stop too with very regular services to Monte Croce, Sexton, San Candido and Dobbiaco. Handy if you get too tired to ski back.

    Cons -

    • Nothing negative. Only good surprises, thank you :)
    • The two critiques, which I imagine are not at all an issue most of the year were, with the heat wave, the lack of AC wasn't quite made up for even with opening the windows in the evening, because then, you couldn't close the shades. If you get up early to hike, this is of course, no issue. However, we wanted to sleep in for a few mornings and this made it tough. The other critique is that, for the amount, the meals were not all that impressive. Dinner was good but nothing exceptional and for anything related to the buffet (breakfast and some desserts) get there early! As everything is fresh, they do not replenish. So when we arrived on the later side of dinner or breakfast, we missed out.
    • Outside parking is a bit limited, but you can use the hotel underground parking for EU10 per night if you wish. You need to select dinner menu options at breakfast, which I personally find a bit inconvenient - but I can understand that it reduces waste and is more efficient for the chefs.

We were in the less expensive accommodation over the road but we had access to all of the facilities in the main hotel. The swimming pool and spa facilities were excellent. All meals were delicious, they were ample with great choices. The staff were excellent and I would love to return to stay for longer another time.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The spa was a dream, the breakfast was very nice (fresh squeezed jucies and endless cappucinos were a highlight!), and the staff were so kind. We initially booked a room in the Bad Moos Dependance Muhlenhof across the street, but upon arrival they upgraded us to a room that was connected in a nearby residence so that we didn't have to go outside to get to the main lodge. Great walking and hiking paths just outside the resort. The views from every direction were surreal, and we didn't want to leave. Highly recommend, would definitely come back.
