- The location and hotel itself were absolutely beautiful, everything was cared for and clean, and the staff was wonderful and friendly!
- Superior service, elite comfort! Great available options for saunas and other SPA facilities. Nice chamber with beer and wine. 30 min from Innsbruck, 2 hours from Munich airport. Nice walking routes. Many options for hiking. Train station allows to commute to Innsbruck and Salzburg.
- Nice hotel in the center of the city
Cons -
- While breakfast was incredible, we were a little disappointed by quality of the dinner offerings. Some of the food was a bit bland and the textures of the food were all very soft, without any variety. We would have wanted more variety in both texture and flavor. But the quality of the food was excellent and homegrown which was amazing! Just didn’t wow us.
- Need to drive for attractions, but not too much
- The dinner was completely disaster. All the food portions was so small that they can feed only a kitten. And the meat dish was awful. it’s a shame to make such a poor dishes in Austria.also, my room was so close to the bar area and it was loud music till 11 PM so I couldn’t sleep. Also, the stuff didn’t inform me anything about spa facilities of the hotel. the spa areas officially open till 8 PM but I came at 7pm and most of saunas were already closed. Only one sauna worked.

Absolutely mind blowing property, which used to be an old monastery, around 500 years old. The property is grand and there’s so much to do. You can just basically spend all of your time there and not be bored :-) . I really loved the spa with Crystal cave sauna, the other infrared sauna, the hot tub , steam room and one of 3 pools on the top level with breathtaking views of the mountains. Breakfast was outstanding! This place is a dream!
There is nothing not to like about this place! It’s paradise!
The location, the views, the facilities and it being a heritage property added to the charm.
It was a mix experience in terms of facilities and hospitality. Things could have been better organized and perhaps trying to better understand our dietary requirements or needsIn advance would have made our stay truly memorable and added to the charm of the property.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Klosterbräu. Breakfast was excellent and the rooms very spacious. Perfectly located in the heart of Seefeld with excellent service and attention to details. Very welcoming hosts. We definitely love to come back!
Amazing hospitality, great food, great wine! Family run hotel and amazing family - sauna and spa area is awesome
Everything great
Excellent staff - especially Francisco, Sabrina, Gemsa and Martina. Lovely room with a beautiful garden and mountain view. Excellent mocktails at the bar. Excellent location. Spa was very good with excellent hydrafacial by Gemsa. Breakfast was good and the buffet was very good.
Restaurant dinner could have had more variety and more options on a la carte menu for breakfast. We had a leak of water from the ceiling on our last night but Francisco handled the situation like a pro! We understand such things can happen.
The building itself is like a treasure hunt. Hotel is full of character and unique features. The team has put a lot of thoughts into making it a great experience. Events in Sauna were super. Breakfast was wonderful.
All included wasn’t worth it for us, as lunches and dinners were inconsistent. Quality of food was good, but the choice was too small for our taste.
I love the hotel decoration and the location. Yoga class and Clemens walks
Food at dinner time with the half board was not at the level in my view
Staff were incredibly supportive and ready to help. Proactively offering help. The gym was spectacular.
The room was very small. I would have liked to have been better prepared for that. And it was very hot in the evening.
We have been going to Seefeld for over 20 years, and have stayed in perhaps 8 different hotels. We have looked at Klosterbrau many times, but it is by far the most expensive hotel in the region. It has always been My wifes dream to stay there, so this year we booked a 3 day stay, full board. The hotel is extremely well run and you feel that the moment you walk in. The reception staff are very professional, really helpful. Our car and luggage were taken care of, we literally didn't have to do anything. Our room was not ready so we went for a walk and a bite to eat, came back a few hours later. We were given this huge key for the room, we went up to our floor (2) but stopped on the first floor because they have one of their special rooms open for guests to look at. This room was incredible! Bath in an open plan bedroom/living room, with its own infrared sauna and balcony. It was stunning, unfortunately our room was nothing like that. It was tiny, freezing cold, the window didn't open or close properly, there were cigarette burns on the bedside table and the carpets didn't look the cleanest. (please bare in mind this is €500 per night). The bathroom was OK, the shower was good. Coffee machine was good, and excellent WiFi.The hotel prides itself on the spa area, which to be honest is amazing, but it does not open the pool until 8am. This baffles me because so many people (My wife included) want to swim before breakfast and be on the slopes at 9am when they open. Back to the spa, it's amazing what they have done to create this spa area, notably the nude area. It is all molded into old cave like passageways with lots of relaxation rooms, romantic dining rooms and wine tasting area, the atmosphere is wonderful, with Gregorian chant music playing in the background, topped off with everyone in brown bathrobes to resemble the monks that once used these passageways. It truly is something to experience.
Food, this was probably the most disappointing for me.We have dined in their Braukeller grill restaurant, which is great, so I was expecting this to be a meat lovers paradise. We booked full board, and as we missed breakfast our first meal was lunch, this was one soup option and a pasta dish and apart from bread, that was it.The evening meal was not much better. They have every vegetable and seed known to man on offer to serve yourself, but no meat whatsoever, even the main course (cooked to order) offered only one option (pork in breadcrumbs), or you could order something to be cooked for you for an extra charge which was no different than if I went to the restaurant but wasn't staying in the hotel. On both the remaining evenings I ordered pizza, which is not what you want at a 5 star hotel (though it was actually good).Breakfast also was no better, I've never stayed at a hotel where there is no bacon, sausages and eggs (scrambled or fried) which you can just get yourself. Here, if you want something warm, you have to order it. The hotel apparently prides itself on everything being bio and having minimal waste, but this I think is a little much. The staff here (Anita) was also excellent, very helpful and really efficient.
Food is excellent, location brilliant. It is a very special hotel and resort.
The rooms are okay, but could be a little better.
Wonderful hotel and spa facilities, every room was a surprise and there were lots rooms. Delicious and extensive breakfast. All staff were extremely helpfulGuided hiking was an unexpected and welcome offering.
Our room was not air conditioned so needed windows open, and late night (past 2am) carousers in the street were very noisy
Excellent facilities, location, outdoor pools, spa
What an amazing hotel. The Spa and gym are fantastic and the food is great. Everything about the hotel we loved. And the original monastery features are superb. We'll be back again.
Lovely food, had full board. The hotel was very friendly, the bar staff were super attentive- a welcome drink was offered (i had an Aperol spritz) the minute i stepped into the hotel - whilst the staff took my bags upstairs. In the evenings there was a piano player which gave the place additional ambience. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the beautiful town next to the church, and only 5 minutes walk from the train station (Innsbruck to Seefeld by train costs around 6.5 euros and takes around 35 minutes). Alot of original features in the hotel from when it was a monastery. The spa was amazing, had an exquisite massage after a day of skiing, then relaxed in the hot tub outside which has a perfect view of the snow capped mountains. The outdoor sun loungers had blankets for anyone wishing to spend some time relaxing in the sun.
Nothing - everything was perfect.
it’s a great property and the food is exceptional
unfortunately I got robbed at the property and although the police found the robber I was offered no compensation for my loss and moral damage that has been done
