All the staff were very friendly

Price-quality the food was ok but the dinner they were serving it very quickly and we had to be there between 19-20.30 and between this 1,5 hour we had to eat quickly... that was a minner...the breakfast was 3 hours but the dinner only 1,5 hour?

Excellent value for money, lovely food, exceptionally nice staff & extremely clean. Highly recommended.We loved our stay & we will definitely be back.Good location, a short walk from the ski hire shops, bus stops & village.

Rooms clean and tidy, breakfast was good, check in was efficient and quick as we arrived late, let is leave our motorbikes out front as we had arrived late. 10 mins slow walk into the main part of town.

Good location. Ideal for ski trip. The nearest ski lift is about 300m (for beginner). My wife learned the ski there. The farest one is also by walk reachable.

The bed (additional one in our room. We had a 4 bed room) is not comfortable.

2 staff members from the restaurant tried to make up for the complete failure of reception and top management

booked a room via booking.com around 19:15, tried to checkin about 15min later: nobody at reception. A staff member of the restaurant took care of us, saying that there is no reception staff at this time of the day. She did not find our booking in their system since she was not trained to handle reception. She still handed us two key cards for room 302 after we had filled the requested paperwork. Both cards did not work. Down to reception, nobody there. Tried to find the staff member in the crowded restaurant … another restaurant staff tried to code our cards, but they still did not work. Restaurant staff calls manager, he orders somebody from the “sister hotel” Alpin to come, who tries to code the cards again. Together with him, we try to enter room 302 and we succeed to open the room door …. only to find that room 302 was occupied with other guests. Never had such an embarrassing moment. The Gourmet hotel manager on the phone still refused to talk to us, but ordered a staff member from the Alpin hotel to provide us a room there. Luckily - and thanks to Martin from the Alpin hotel - there was a free room, so we stayed overnight in the Alpin appartment hotel (entering our room about 30mins after started to check in at the Gourmet hotel). Next morning checkout at the Gourmet hotel: no apologies by reception staff, no apology by management. This was the worst hotel experience since 20 years (I am travelling worldwide and have a Booking.com Genius Level 3 status). I still request a sincere apology from the Gourmet hotel top management.

The location, the staff and also the kitchen were excellent.

Very kind and helpful staff. We pretty liked the chefs' cooking style and variety of foods. Internet connection was strong and stabile (I had to join to an online conference and everything went well)

Nothing to highlight

The location of the hotel as such is very good with nice and fast access to town center and ski slopes. When it comes to other positives I have to mention the overall cleanliness of the whole facility.

The biggest issue of this hotel are rooms - room quality. Honestly, this hotel cheats people by selling different quality than showing on photos at booking and their website - and charging for it! We had a clash two times with the receptionist on the room we got (me and my wife). We paid charge for Deluxe room (nice pictures, fully renovated and modern looking) however we got an old-school looking room, like from the 90s, totally different from what they sell to people. We complained two times during our stay but without any chance to get a different room - we have been told that the room we got is Deluxe (wasn't even Superior according to their website communication...). I was very disappointed by the service at the front desk, the receptionist said "she is not responsible for what they communicate on booking nor their website" - unbelievable sense of irresponsibility. I want to warn all people before booking this hotel - book a different one, even though this one is situated in good location, there are many other with better customer service and overall experience.
