Hotel Kaiserhof Heringsdorf

I really liked the pancake machine in the breakfast buffet: I made my own fresh pancakes with the push of a button. I also had a blast playing pingpong in the fitness room and joining a free yoga class on the sun-lit terrace. And I rented a bike from the hotel which was really convenient.

The wifi was a bit unreliable. I found the bed a bit too soft - but solved it by sleeping really well on the sleeper couch that we had in the room.

Everything. The specious room with great facilities and friendly staff.

View of the beach from the balcony. Room was modern and very clean. Indoor and outdoor pool plus the sauna, were great.

There was a musty smell coming from the drains in the bathroom

Neighbours smoking on the balconies. People gossiping in the elevator about us, because we dared to take the lift from the spa area to our rooms in our spa towels (the hotel provides no bathrobes, which feels a bit weird for a wellness hotel at 450€/night).

We had a halfboard with dinner - we got the food after 1 hour and 15 minutes of waiting... and it wasn't even good. You can feel that they have problems with staff and organization. The water in the indoor swimming pool is very cold.Hard to find a free parking place. The manager lady at the reception was unpolite and not at all costumer friendly. You pay a lot but they don't deliver. We booked this hotel for my birthday and it was a disappointment.

The decor of the dining hall, corridors, and the reception hall feels like it is from the 90s.

Amazing facilities, SUPERB FOOD, great view.

There’s a sound from the pool pump that runs all night. It’s quiet and not disturbing, but it can hide the beautiful sound of the sea.

I accidentally left some of my belongings in the room and the hotel kindly shipped them back to me. Thank you!

A bit hard to find your way around the property, lots of hallways, elevators and weird directions to go. It seems bits were added on over time. More signage would have been good.

I’m so delighted to have discovered this grand and fabulous hotel…It certainly surpassed all my expectations. My compliments won’t dry up! Situated directly on the magnificent sandy beach (we could see both sunrise and moonset) its rooms with balconies overlook the sea. It offered everything I wished for : 3 different sauna, gorgeous swimming pool with whirlpool, a rooftop Wintergarten overlooking the ocean where one can lounge at night, a bar with live music and dancing on Saturday night, a beautiful restaurant where a copious breakfast buffet is served (it has also a Sommergarten with outdoor swimming pool closed in winter of course ).The hotel is located 100 metres from the long pier (lively with its shops and restaurants) and is also directly in the village, a few steps to the a number of shops and restaurants. I was upgraded to a Superior comfort room with bottles of water and snack and lovely toiletries in the large and modern bathroom plus a basket with bathrobe and water for the sauna/pool. The room was extremely spacious and quiet with a huge bed separated by an elegant piece of furniture from a lounge area (with sofa, coffee table and armchair) giving directly onto a balcony (with table and chairs) that overlooked the beach. There is a fridge. The bed and bedding (pillows) were superb. The wifi was great. The staff friendly. What can I say more? A dream place to spend some days on an exceptionally beautiful beach. I will visit again!

Good view. Right by the beach. Quiet, probably because its winter.

The pool and spa facilities were closed due to corona. Alternatively they could have offered the bikes for free. But they didn't.Housekeeping kept knocking on the door at 8 am. Little early especially when your breakfast round doesn't start until 9am.

For “technical reasons” Manager refused to accept Amex Platinum card to pay bill at check out even though advertised on booking.com as accepting Amex and my booking deposit with Amex was accepted. Property undergoing obvious changes since being sold by Maritim. Fewer personnel and only one restaurant/ eating place (COVID related?)Lifts too small at peak times. No clear overview of hotel facilities given by reception or otherwise made available. Reception greeting cool and rushed - staff had little time to help. WLAN too slow.

Great location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, well-appointed room.

Room was very loud in daytime—maybe the loudest in Heringsdorf. Many vehicles, buses outside, although this was not a problem in nighttime.

Just best you can find on sea side
