Steigenberger Grandhotel & Spa Heringsdorf

location is fantastic. we loved the layout of the hotel and how easy it is to get to the pool, the spa (great treatments and reasonable prices), the sea, to rent bicycles or a Strandkorb. the suite we stayed in was so spacious and comfortable. we loved sitting on the balcony and listening to the sound of the waves. breakfast had lots of choices and was of high quality.

quality of staff varied a lot. at times it was impossible to find anyone at the pool bar and just getting hold of the towels was a bit of an adventure. our check-in experience was a bit of a disaster and would just good to keep in mind that this is where you are shaping an impression with the guest. Our impression was that the hotel is understaffed. selection of breakfast was great but unless you got to sit outside, the breakfast room inside felt stuffy and less inviting.

The location is great. The room is very comfortable and cozy. The stuff is friendly. We liked breakfast a lot. We will definitely come back again!

The hotel is just beautiful, very comfortable and in an amazing location. We walked down to the beach, just a couple of minutes walk away, to see the sunrise this morning before breakfast. We didn't have dinner in the hotel but the breakfast was fabulous.Our room was beautiful, with a balcony and pretty much everything we could want.Above all, the staff were knowledgeable, welcoming and helpful. I loved our time here, it was such a relaxing break.

We had no real complaints. .My only (very small) issue was that the pillows weren't fantastic, a bit soft and not quite in keeping with the standard of the hotel. But that's a very small issue

Super hotel in a very good location. Good facilities and cleanliness. Staff seemed well-meaning, but not all were well trained for the job and communication could be challenged.

location: it is on the promenade, a few minutes walk from the station and the centre of Usedom. The hotel itself is large, in beautiful grounds and spotless inside and out. We had a large, comfortable room. The brealfast was one of the best I have ever had. I only used the outdoor swimming pool but the spa was well equipped and, like all else, immaculate. The staff were all friendly and helpful
