Strandvillen Heringsdorf

The sauna was great. The view from the seaside bedroom is amazing. The breakfast was really good. The staff was arranging with our suitcases on the departure day.

Convenient location near the beach. Very nice breakfast with veg/vegan choices.

The roof angles in upstairs room give a claustrophobic feel and it is quite uncomfortable to walk around - do not recommend to anyone taller. No blackout curtains/rolladen. Street and hallway lighting coming into room from above, from sides, from interior. One has to climb on chairs and bed to close cheap blinds on the roof windows and still the light will come in - don't plan on sleeping in.Location from train station - on the off chance one is coming via public transportation, the bus nearby doesn't run often so be prepared to walk about a mile.

great location - falling asleep to the sound of the waves = priceless. Beautiful room, really nicely decorated. The service was very nice and helpful

Wifi - practically non-existent, no coverage in the room. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Free with breakfast, paid outside and only until 10 p.m. Some people prefer wine with breakfast, I need a source of tea all day long, that's my weakness ;)

Close to the beach

Advertised room photos did nowhere near match the room (suite). Sea view was advertised but from the basement level suite this is mostly a view of a pub and public toilets with a tiny corner of sea. The WiFi did not work throughout the place.

It is beyond all praises. Really good place to stay and relax. Room was big, nice and comfortable.The hall for breakfast was absolutely fantastic.

An excellent location, and first class facilities, including the rooms, and the dining room, which featured a great outdoor patio with overlook to the Baltic Sea. The breakfast was awesome, it is the first I’ve ever seen that actually offered a bubbly wine with breakfast lol.

Be nice to have somebody at the reception that speaks at least a little English! Two different ladies at check-in and checkout, and neither spoke a word of English, but continued to rattle off German very quickly even though we understood absolutely zero, and told them so. But hey, if English speaking guests are a rarity, then it’s very understandable.

The best was its location. Sea first line, 10 minutes walk away from the comercial area.

The bed. Small. Bad quality. Too soft.

The people in the restaurant were lovely and the hotel is very well located.

The lady at the reception was not very welcoming or helpful. The rooms are without any charm and overall the hotel is not very comfortable. You have to pay extra to go park your car a few streets away when other cars were in the parking lot...
