Easy to locate, very spacious for one person, everything I needed for one night on the Camino de Invierno.

Did not stay despite booking.

Room was totally unsuitable. It was a very cold day.There was no heat at all.There was no- one to speak to or able to be contacted by phone or email.At 82 years I cannot accept this accommodation.I went elsewhere.Later message from management said heating came on at 2000h. Far too late (having arrived at 1700h) for room to be comfortable.Presently, via Booking.com, I am requesting FULL reimbursement of room charge. Further communication with accommodation management requesting their cooperation in my securing reimbursement has not been responded to.In light of my circumstances regarding the unsuitable room, coupled with the present failure of management to acknowledge my concern, I would strongly advise persons looking for a room in Monforte de Lemos to look elsewhere.

The room was comfortable, the location of the place was really good.

There was a common bathroom and it was kind of uncomfortable to share the bathroom with other guests. The curtains of the bath were not clean.

Right next to the train station. Perfect if you arrive late. Super friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Good communication and friendly and helpful staff.

There were a large stains on bed linens.

Nothing really. It was excellent value for the price. They even offered a breakfast and the staff were pleasant.

Being put in an unprepared bedroom without sheets or towels, even though we checked in after 4pm. Eventually moved to another room.Lack of elevator was bad news, and the bedroom electronic 6 digit keypad was difficult to see.

The breakfast was ham and tomato with tostadas after I said sugar was not good for me, so kind. The coffee was delicious. I loved the polished wooden floors and airy curtains, and soft coverlet, and the noon check out. Location was great, near the train station.

Staff very helpful. Bar downstairs lively and food was good. Close to train station.

Rooms were fine. Bathroom had mold on the ceiling and could use a renovation.

The restaurant was fantastic! The couple that ran the hostel and their staff were very helpful and friendly.

A little old….perhaps they are in the process of renovating?

Location is perfect, staff was very nice, comfortable and big beds, good breakfast, clean and spacious room.

Paper thin walls. Heard every move of our neighbors who were being quite loud during the night. Don't understand why we were put in the room right near other people since the hotel seemed empty. There was no shampoo or shower gel, little toilet paper and the only soap available is bad quality.
