Hotel Golden House

I really loved the hotel,is old style but very clean. In the room was very warm and is 10 min walking from the christmas market.

The only thing i can say that i didnt like is poor option for breakfast

Loved the big room and the dinner at the hotel was also very good. Very grateful also to the staff for helping me park car on property.

A little bit out of the way from center. The breakfast was not very appetizing.

Very large room

We were promised to get an elevator to our room but it was not true, we were told about shower but it was a bath!!

Good location, very good staff, perfect breakfast, big rooms.

Glasses in the room were dirty.

Very roomy room and comfortable. Great breakfast. Wonderful, historic building, beautifully renovated across a charming little parc with mature trees.

I liked everything, especially the value for the money.

The breakfast, location and the room are excellent.

The lobby bar area needs some renovation, as there was a rain ingress from the ceiling. However, it was not an issue for us.

Pleasant hotel with very nice staff. Very close to "old town centre" and botanical garden park.

Big room, plenty of space. Really clean and well kept bathroom. Diverse breakfast, swedish style. Really good placement, close to the city centre, 15-20 minutes walking distance. The staff was nice and helpful.

The only downside was the balcony setup, not really child friendly.

The hotel was well-positioned, offering convenient access to nearby attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere throughout the stay. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—overall a great experience.

Good value for money when factoring the booking.com genius discount. Interior nice but a bit dated, especially the bathroom. With a good price offer it's worth considering.

cleaniness of the toilet was not respecting the so called "seal".

Good location, historical building, rather large room, good breakfast. The staff tried to solve problems (not quite successfully).

Not very clean room (especially crumbs of food on the carpet), no electric kettle. Overall, the hotel is good, but the quality to price ratio is inadequate. For the price, the quality should be much better. Alternatively, for the provided quality the price should be much lower.

A good location for visiting Craiova. The room is spacious. The impression is that it is quite clean. We are quite satisfied with our stay in this hotel. breakfast could be a shade more varied.

The location is ideal for getting to know Craiova. The room was super spacious, clean and the staff is very polite. Tasty food but I don't expect anything less in the Balkans :)

Everything was great, thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

- large room and bathroom- very good hot water pressure, hot water all the time- rooms well heated, beds very comfy - good location, excellent parking space (large enough)- good restaurant for lunch and dinner

- breakfast was more of a 3 stars hotel.

I liked the room itself and the location of the hotel. The breakfast was also nice

The hotel room door lock was swinging, it did not really secure the room.

We had the apartment so we had a very spacious room. Nice and clean

Poor breakfast

The breakfast was ok and our room was big enough. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is near the center and the Botanical Garden and they have a large parking area.

In October the AC is not functional so they've been so nice to bring us a ventilator. No kettle in the room and the bathroom needs an update.

The location is not bad, the room is big and the breakfast is good

I found bees in the room, there was no safety box in our room

Hospitable, helpful, and very kind staff. Spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. It was a perfect choice for one night of good rest on our long travel. Easy to find, with accessible parking next to the hotel.

All was just fine. What's not to like?

The hotel is excellent situated, very close from city center, in a quiet zone. Spacious rooms and staff always ready to help you with everything you need. Good breakfast. Large parking lot.
