- For such a decent Hotel they need to update/upgrade the wifi Constantly kicks you off and have to re-enter password accept and agree. Problem with pass word is that it's very difficult to remember:  REALLY!!! Keep it simple stupid!!!
- AC wasn’t working properly.
- Most of our negative experiences with the hotel center around the bar and cafeteria restaurant and the service from the staff, namely Patricia. That said the service we received in the hotels nicer restaurant was phenomenal. I did not get the woman’s name, but she was absolutely spectacular. Making us feel welcome and wanted.

Cafetería and restaurant adjacent to the hotel
AC wasn’t working properly.
The front desk clerk was great but the ladies that work in the cafeteria were really rude to us multiple times.
It’s an older hotel and because we have multiple room rooms, we got one which had been updated, fantastic, and one which had not been updated, but was still quite nice. The bar and casual restaurant is a bit worn down and employee named. Patricia makes it obvious that she is miserable and hates her job. Don’t expect a smile from her.

The bed & pillows were very uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, I’m not able to evaluate property. But I’m able to evaluate management and customer appreciation. Sadly, my flight from US (Seattle) to France (Paris) came with significant delay. Also that day Paris was under storm with multiple flight cancelations or significant delays. Acknowledging existing situation at Paris aero port I immediately notify hotel that will not come for booking overnight stay due to storm in Paris and inability to fly to Madrid (Spain), as well as catch train to Sarria. To my surprise, hotel manager respond was you will be charged full amount even without staying as hotel, because notification about cancellation came less than 24 hr from hotel booking date. My argument that I’m having emergency and unpredictable situation do not convince hotel management. I advise to hotel manager to revise existing hotel policy and add possibility to deal with emergent cancellations in more humane way. Thank you for considering my explanation. Zilvinas Zakarevicius
This was a great hotel to Stay in and will do it again when taking a group on the Camino de Santiago. Staff were all very nice at the reception desk and helpful with taxi’s and breakfast was great with a lot of choices.
Although breakfast was really good, when we went down to eat, there were already so many people there at 8:00 everything was gone and there were no more plates. That can happen I know when there is a rush but the breakfast staff were not nice about getting more plates and putting out more glasses. Eventually they did but were not happy about it.
This is a very nice hotel on the Camino. The amenities are what one would expect for a tourist hotel and it is a nice change from small inns which are more prevalent on the Camino.
I have no complaints. they could be a little more flexible and serve food before 1PM but that is a very minor suggestion.
Great location and nice lobby and decent room and nice marble bathroom.
No coffee / team in room; front desk staff was condescending; and directed me to the pool, which was not open and green with lack of maintenance.
An old hotel with uncomfortable beds and very uncomfortable pillows. There are few staff members, and service is slow both at the reception and in the dining room or bar. When service is finally provided, the staff are polite. The hotel is overpriced for what it offers.
Good location for entering the Camino
It is sparse. No conditioner or lotion. No face cloths. It’s a minimal hotel with basics (almost). It will get the job done for 1 night.
The restaurant, outdoor spaces , room was spacious and nice bathroom
Need more food options for dietary restrictions
Some of the staff were good, one lady in particular found it difficult to be pleasant…she seemed to hate her job which was to serve people in the cafeteria and terrace! Antonio at front desk was the best. Very responsive to requests and always with a pleasant smile and attitude.
The room was bland, not a single photo/picture on walls. The towels were tatty and a couple had holes in them. The shower was great. The restaurant was a big disappointment. The food was so so. I had to request Olive oil with the bread. When it arrived the bottle of balsamic vinegar was empty. I pointed it out and was brought white vinegar (to have with olive oil & bread!) and when I asked for balsamic again I was told there wasn’t any! No wonder I was the only person in the place for lunch☹️
Good location
Small room and smelled bad. They were nice enough to change room for us. But the hotel smelled funny
BED BUGS, DO NOT STAY HERE.
This hotel has BED BUGS. DO NOT STAY HERE! It felt like a pension hotel, not a 4 star place - it's a low value stay to begin with. The bed bugs, killed 3 full of blood, made it the worst stay on the camino. No effort by staff to compensate for the issue, just a sad face when I showed pictures of the insects.
The location is ideal to start the Camino!
The beds where too hard, and it could use a remodel..
Nice clean room, front desk staff was efficient, informative, and overall pleasant to deal with.
Breakfast was chaos. Coffee makers didn't work. Young staff member didn't know what to do.
Very nice front desk staff
The room was shabby, the curtains were falling, the trash can had no lining, there was only one set of towels for two of us, the pillows had a bad smell, and so did the towels. The worst thing was that the bed made noises when it bounced, and there was no soundproofing at all. It was very too bad and dusty everywhere
Location.
Pillow. Toilet roll holder was broken
