Beautiful views. Lovely room and very comfortable. The terrace was a great sun trap.

It’s not near any other bars and restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel was lovely but not for vegetarians.

Everything was fantastic. The staff, the view, the rooms, the beautiful festive decor. The breakfast with that gorgeous view was a cherry on the cake. The staff even let me do a little late checkout as I was really tired. Parking is on site with elevator and the rooms are super spacious.

Absolutely nothing.

The rooms were large; the balcony was lovely and the shower was wonderful.

The parking lot is small but that’s a minor issue. We had space to park.

Great view from a fantastic room with a great balcony overlooking the coastal farmland and the vastness of the sea beyond. Good restaurant and bar in the evening, and a lovely breakfast each morning.

From outside the hotel seems unassuming but inside it’s sensational. The restaurant and bar just off reception have panoramic views over farmland and stunning views of the castle which is lit up at night. The rooms are *massive* with two very comfortable double beds (one each!) and I particularly loved the bathroom which had a claw foot bath (with bubble bath provided) and rain shower. Our room (3) had a private terrace from which it was lovely to view the sunrise and sunset and feel the sea breeze. The restaurant really is exceptional - it’s a star attraction for the town - and excellent value for the fine dining experience offered. The continental breakfast was insane - variety of fresh bread and pastries, eggs, hams, tuna, salmon, fresh fruit etc. Staff were friendly and welcoming and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

At a hotel of this calibre I would expect slightly dressing gowns/slippers for the winter months and slightly better pillows, but these are minor points and the bed was incredibly comfortable.You should be aware that the hotel benefits from stunning views of Salobreña due to its location about 35 mins walk away, 10 minutes of which is along the main road which can be a bit hairy. Taxis cost between 6-10 euros so I would recommend this rather than walking especially if you are a female alone as I experienced some harmless heckling on the way down.None of the above detracted from what a gorgeous boutique hotel this is.

Beautifully furnished rooms with stunning sea views from the balcony. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the bed really comfortable. Great value for money and would definitely stay here again.

Such a relaxing place to stay with friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable, spacious rooms and a great breakfast. A perfect overnight stop off. We’ve stayed here several times over the last few years and it never disappoints.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

The Junior Suite is absolutely lovely, with superb attention to detail in terms of furnishings and layout. Huge room, spotlessly clean, and an excellent shower. The bed was very comfortable. Great, private balcony and wonderful views across to Salobreña castle. Good onsite parking. The staff in the restaurant and bar were very nice. Excellent breakfast.

We booked half board, mainly to guarantee a place in the restaurant close to New Year. The photos we had seen suggested fine dining. When we went to dinner, the waiter did not give us menus but recited 3 starter choices and 2 main course options (bacalao or presa iberica (pork), neither of which we like. He then said we could have Thai chicken stir fry, which we chose. The food was good, but not of the quality shown in the photos and was disappointing for that reason, especially as it was my wife's birthday and we were looking forward to high-quality food.In case we had missed something, we did not complain then but checked after dinner and it was simply not clear that the Half Board dinner option is so restricted. When we checked out, we mentioned this and the receptionist apologised, but gave us the impression that we should have known the option would be very restricted. Also, whilst still attending to us, a German couple came to the door and, without saying anything to us, the receptionist left us and went and dealt with them for 5 minutes before returning to finish off with us. We found this to be very rude and unprofessional. We suggest that Hotel Miba makes it more obvious what the Half Board dinner restrictions are. It would only take a few words on their website and their Booking.com page.

Absolutely loved staying at this boutique hotel! Our room was huge with a beautiful terrace and the view was amazing! The staff were so kind and we loved the breakfast.

The only minor drawback was the pillows, which could have been more comfortable. Additionally, there was occasional smoke and noise from nearby farming activities, though this is understandable given the rural setting.

The decor and great room size and bathroom facilities.

No outside area apart from car park to walk the dog or let her wee!

Position

In general it was a very pleasant stay for 3 days. We liked the views and the cozy atmosphere at the restaurant. The hotel is located at a hilltop and has great views.Besides:Great prices at the minibar.Cleaning/beds made every day.Water bottle filled up everyday.Parking spaces were always available.Late/free check in was available (check first)

The raw concrete walls in part of the room might not be for everyone but did not bother us. The power connections at the bed should be higher up as the bed table is in the way.TV could have a chromecast function.

We love this hotel and will continue to revisit. The rooms are large and luxurious and few. Staff are friendly and it has a relaxed and bohemian vibe.

The food. We ate here six years ago and it was Michelin quality. Dinner, specifically. It was the worst meal I have had. Two choices only on half board, not mentioned on booking. Presentation nothing like the web photos.Cold gyozas. Tasteless prensa de ibérico on an indiscriminate sauce. Hard and chewy potato de.mille feuile. My partner ate it reluctantly. But the fish was the truly awful dish. Overly salted and poached in a bed of boiled rice swimming in water. Saline water. Lukewarm, with vegetables that would take your teeth out. I ate one bite. The waitress was helpful and offered to replace the latter but we had had enough. Breakfast was great, by the way, but dinner will never be repeated.
