Nice helpful friendly staff. 10-15 minutes walk to train station. Air conditioning was great.

It was a little bit spooky. No terrasse, no lunch no dinner, strange

externally there were leaves , weeds and unswept paths . Pool was not usable and was full of leaves . was informed on arrival the pool was only in use in season .

The hotel was nice and clean with the pool, which the staff however did not allow us to use after 6pm. The hotel seems to be an "island" in the middle of a very typical smashed and neglected southern Italian village.

We had to decide and order a number of pieces/pax of breakfast servings (ham, eggs, brioche, butter, marmalade coffee, ...) a day before. In the morning the staff put everything on our small table. The reason was Covid measurement, however we visited many hotels meanwhile and this was a really strange and unique approach. Please do not go and eat in the restaurant "La Roscia te lu Fucalire" recommended by the hotel staff - it was the worst dinner ever we have eaten in Italy, perhaps in all of Europe.

Location is good in the sense that was pretty central in Apulia, available free private parking is convieninet, clearly is not an hotel that is good to go if you want to be close to the beach

For being a wine hotel there was basically no wine experience, the wine tour was suspended and wine tasting was more expensive than buyng a glass of exactly the same wine in a regular bar or restaurant around. Also there was not special price for the guest of the hotel, price by bottle in the supermarket was basically the same. To use the swmming pool umbrella and bed there was extra to pay

The rooms are comfortable, clean and with all the facilities. The staff is kind and helpful and the location is strategic to reach rapidly different touristic spots either on the ionic than on the adriatic coast.
