Everything is awesome at this property¿the location is spectacular , the staff is awesome and the hotel is beautiful ¿we found absolutely no shortcomings in the property ¿

The location and views are amazing! You can also walk beautiful pathways along the ocean cliffs right from the hotel. the the pousada itself has a lot of history and those parts are lovely. The place is pet friendly which was great so we could enjoy the space with our dog!

Some of the more modern style decor is really outdated. The bathtub and shower had really low pressure which was not great. Also the bath tub drain is rusty so not a great look.

Peaceful, beautiful, good food, at the edge of the continent :) Walking distance to restaurants and bars , and the port. Very kind and friendly staff

Location is incredible

Room for 3 persons was not prepared when we arrived and the room is very small for 3 compared to the amount paid!

The service was excellent from every staff member, with specific mention to Sylvia and the dining and bar staff, who were all exceptional.Special mention to the chef. Every meal was perfect, from start to finish.The hotel itself is pristine, with breathtaking views from very angle.The area around the hotel has an abundance of walking trails, and restaurants and shops are within short walking distance.Having been to Estoi just prior to arriving at Sagres, we would have to say Sagres is definitely the superior pousada!

If we were to have any critique it’s that the WiFi in our room was an issue, and it wasn’t unusual to see guests on their phones and laptops in the bar area where the WiFi was much better.

Our room was lovely, very comfortable, quiet and spacious. The view wonderful. Having said that I would have been upset had it not been as I paid quite a lot to have those things! The room was very clean and serviced daily. The staff we met were all friendly and efficient. There was ample, easy parking. Services were available throughout the day. The hotel location was quiet and very attractive in the national park. There were easy walks to do straight from the hotel. The village was also within easy walking distance with good restaurants. Sadly we didn't have good weather so we didn't see as much of the area as we would have liked.

Only a coffee machine in the room. Being English we do love a kettle for a cup of tea! Also we don't like coffee machine coffee.

Such a beautiful setting, the historic hotel with incredible views of the beach and lighthouse can’t be beat! Very nice breakfast as well.

So classy and old school without being old fashioned.Location is spectacular and the staff are very professional and friendly.Best sunset and sunrise view we have had in Portugal, some of the best cocktails, food was brilliant and rooms were luxurious and comfortable.Highly recommend.

Lovely staff, well appointed rooms, unique location. Sagres is worth a visit and so is this hotel.

The view was fantastic surrounded by sea! sunrise from our balcony was fab! It was very peaceful albeit off season .Great view our room had a decent balcony with table and chairs. Nice restaurant on the beach below, better than normal local restaurant, must be nice in summer with outside tables good menu right on the beach.

Nothing it was all good will return. Just thought the Massage room looked a bit disappointing!

Fantastic location, good breakfast!

I did not feel welcome, because my dog (a friendly golden retriever of 25 kg) was considered too large. Regardless of the dog gifts, this hotel is nog dog-friendly. In bad weather, there is no place to go with your dog.

Great location, traditional style, good breakfast and an open fireplace.
